Glad that this is the last one
Am I the only one getting tired of the Batman-esque 'everything goes down the drain' trailers/plots?
The Mandarin. Probably heavily reimagined.

Why is Tony Stark all alone in this? Why doesn't anyone help him? Last I remember, Bruce Banner joins up with Tony at the end of Avengers. Way to sit this out Captain America & SHIELD. This man saves the world and you just sit idly by while he gets his ass handed to him.
Does he have telekinetic powers at :20?
The point of the end of the avengers is to show that the heroes all act individually until there is a worldly threat that none of them can handle on their own.
Captain America is probably on some soul finding mission, Banner is in some self imposed exile, widow and hawkeye are busy with their lights off, missionary only business.
Also, looks like the world thinks Stark is probably dead.
But the supposed lesson is that heroes... there is no such thing. How best to prove him wrong than a show of force?
Doesn't matter if the world thinks Stark is dead, the Avengers know he isnt. But I'm also pretty sure the world knows he's alive, he's the only Avenger that's out in the public. I don't see him as a guy who goes into hiding and lets the world think he's dead either.
Is batman suddenly the only "hero" that ever has had a plotline that involves them depowering down?
Because every single hero ever in the history of comic books has had that plotline.
what is depowering down?
Bad wording. I Meant losing their ability to fight what they normally could.
Green Latern loses his ring for a while.
Iron Man loses his armor.
Spiderman loses his spidey powers
Thor loses his hammer
Stuff like that.
Ahh I thought you meant the world thinks he's dead at the end of Avengers. I'm not drawing conclusions from a trailer. That scene was at a remote location, whatever happened there, the world does not know. Not that it matters as I've said, what the world thinks is irrelevant. The Avengers are not in contact with each other but you'd be a fool if you think SHIELD is not actively keeping track of them since that's what they did for the first Avengers.
War Machine might make an appearance though but that's to be expected. He prob felt guilty he had scheduling conflicts when Loki showed up.
