Wow are u complaining about a presidential candidate because hes organized and neat? You must love a president that has no idea what he is saying half the times.

BTW I have friends from Eruope who have watched the debate. They say Bush is an embarassment to America. Never seen someone stutter so many times. Throughout the whole debate he only had 3 things to say. He just kept on repeating the same ideas with different wordings. I dont know if anyone else has caught that.

I dont understand why you repubs are so keen on voting someone whos gonna embarass a whole nation... Just for some extra dole in your pockets?

From a risk/benefit standpoint, this would have been one of the most foolish acts ever committed by a presidential candidate, right up there with Watergate. Sen Kerry, in answering the questions, always looked directly at the audience and Jim Lehrer. He wasn't making reference to any notes at all.

I think this is the same kind of stellar journalism that led Matt Drudge to announce that Sen Clinton was the ***OFFICIAL*** running mate for Sen Kerry.

I was wondering if people still remember right after the last election, bush went to Yale to give a speech. He said, "This is for all you C's and D's students out there. If I can be president so can you." Then he was booed ...lol. They also asked him about the last book he has read. He replied, cant remember, it was back in college.

Instead of labeling yourselves as dems and repubs, why cant people just vote based on who is going to improve this country.

Can you really trust someone who doesnt believe in education, doesnt like to read, comes off as being semi retarded, have speech impediment, has done damage to this country's economy by ensuring a fatter wallet for himself, making wrong decisions, sending thousands of amercian soldiers to their deaths... the list could go on.

My suggestion is to vote against Bush this term, even if u are an extreme repub. Vote for a repub next term, if the choices becomes better. Our country cannot handle another term of Bush in office. Why cant you people see that?

Compare the economy right now to when Clinton was in power. Can you say that Bush made all the right and smart decisions about this country?

Educate yourself directly from the man himself. Iraq Plans

If that's not enough for you to be content for now, wait till the Town Hall meeting on Friday since I am sure that question will be asked there. I am also waiting to here some more specifics.

all smoke and mirrors there...so no not enough at all....he still doesn't say how or why others will want to get involved, nor does he say how he will make it a top Nato priority...I think he is yanking our chains with this one.

The current, sitting administration is GW Bush's.

It is they who I demand an answer from with grave urgency--on this score and many others.

I have for more than 3 years. Always with an unstisfactory result.

And you think in this instance Kerry will do any better?? sorry if I doubt it and think he shouldn't be leadng us on with BS.

Probably. The Dub has been absolutely dismal in this area.

It's nothing. Just more smear from the right. Heck, Kerry was doing it while Jim Lehrer was looking RIGHT AT HIM.

And, look at Bush. He's apparently taken something from his jacket, too. Watch his hands.

You're entitled to your opinion, and obviously we won't know until/unless Sen Kerry is elected President.

That said, President Bush is perhaps the least-liked President in American history by our European allies, and it's not hard to imagine a President Kerry being able to marshal more support for peacemaking operations in Iraq. Since we essentially know things won't get any better in this respect under a second Bush term, it's hard to see how they could go any worse under a Kerry presidency.

But how Red? by asking nicely? by just being someone else? sorry if I don't think so, he will have to make some serious concessions to get other nations involved and personally I am scared to think of what Kerry would be willing to do or give up to get others involved.

see my response to Red, I don't think Kerry will be able to gather more support by just being more liked and or more respected, especially with his constant negativism about the war....I don't think things will get worse for Iraq but I worry about what he will be willing to offer up to get other nations involved...

Yes I do believe that concessions will have to be made. How else can you convince them to involve themselves in this major Clusterfsck that the Dub has created.

The right-leaning Gallup poll is showing a double-digit bounce for Kerry with both tied at 49% now.

It was reported on CNN but no links online yet.

"Could Kerry do better ?","Could Kerry do better ?","Could Kerry do better ?","Could Kerry do better ?","Could Kerry do better ?","Could Kerry do better ?",
"Could Kerry do better ?".

Christ, you people are a broken record.

Here let me change the record:

"Could Sharpton do worse ?", "Could Gore do worse ?", "Could Nader do worse ?", "Could Conger do worse ?", "Could Cadkinds/sorta do worse ?",
"Could Heartsurgeon do worse ?" (Maybe)

Can't prove a damn fact either way can you ?

Same thing with the Bush 'allegation' about Kerry wanting to rule by European Apeasment,
that's absolute bull - and you know it. You can't twist what he didn't say into something that
Rove want's him to say - it's dishonest and disrespectful to the American People.
But then again - who is left that actually beleives that Bush is honest or trustworty ?
He's proven over and over that truth and trustworthiness is not part of his, or his Cabinets makeup.

What I'm saying is that its quite laudable that folks demand explanations from Kerry as to his plans.

Hold-his-feet-to-the-fire. Great and wonderful.

Unfortunately--many doing this--are not equally holding the Bush administrations feet to the fire.

I think, future administrations aside, demanding answers is even more logical, urgent, and necessary--from the present administration.

There's an interesting tidbit in this MSNBC article about the debate - they claim the Kerry campaign floated fake rumors that he was complaining about the timing-light rules for the debate, because he was so well-practiced that he knew the lights wouldn't be a problem:

The emphasis wasn't on substance?the man knew it cold?but on brevity. After each mock debate (Washington lawyer Greg Craig played George Bush), Kerry would sit on the edge of the stage, analyze his performance and hone his answers. Kerry's aides were so confident that they had schooled him in concision that they used his reputation as a windbag to play?and win?an expectations game on debate day. They say they circulated a bogus rumor: they were upset about warning lights on the podiums, fearing their blabbermouth candidate would be bathed in flashing red. In the end, it was Bush?not Kerry?who ran afoul of the strict time limits and earned a blinking light.

Looks photochopped to me

I downloaded the debate and you can clearly see it in the video. Also those claiming that Kerry pulled something "illegal" in the beggining of the debate. From the CNN version I have when the debate is over and they show Bush's daughters and wife coming up the stage you see Kerry's podium for a split second and you see a folded handkerchief right next to his glass of water. Could this be the mysterious "cheat sheet" that Kerry pulled out of his jacket pocket where handkerchiefs are normally kept? DUH!

Some screenshots of mine.
