So if we're int he US can we make a euro account and dl this? I've been waiting for this game for a while lol.
I believe it's going to be on the NA Store today anyway. At least that's according to Playstation Universe. So there's no need to create a European account.

It will only be available to people who have pre-ordered the game though. For some reason, the EU region doesn't have that restriction.
That makes no sense. Isnt the point of the demo to make people WANT to buy the game. Getting a demo should not be incentive to buy the game. They have it backwards.
That is Sony for you. They tend to release demos after the game has been released. Look at MGS4.... demo wasn't released until November or December. Game was released in June.
SCEA is kind of retarded. Whatever, I like good games and won't hold it against them.
.......
Oh, and I just played the demo I downloaded earlier this afternoon.
Great gameplay, but it is definitely going to take me some time to adjust to the controls. I really hate not having custom control mapping like in Resistance 2. Not a single one of the presets matches what I want. The best ones for everywhere else have the Zoom and Sprint mapped to L3/R3 respectfully. While Sprint I can handle being on L3, I hate Zoom being mapped to the same stick I have to use Look for, and hell, being on a stick in general. If I select "Zoom Hold", that means you have to hold it to zoom, which using a stick that you are aiming with, well... makes it rough when all of a sudden you try and aim and oops, let go. But without Zoom Hold selected, that means its click on and click off.
I'll stick with that, but it's going to take some time adjusting to remember to click on and off every time I want and no longer want zoom.
However, sprint has no option of toggle, but while it's on a stick it doesn't bother me at all. Hold the stick while I'm running somewhere, I can handle that, seemed to adjust to that real quick. That then places Melee on L1, which is strange because I prefer that on one of the sticks. I would rather swap Melee and Zoom, but the only presets that had that I didn't like the rest of the button mapping. Oh well.
I must say though, while it's the beginning level... I think... it definitely sets the stage for some amazing gameplay later on, and was pretty fun, though playing it while not quite adjusting to the controls makes it harder than it would have been.
Lighting is absolutely beautiful, and you can tell, while the environment is very drab and bleak, it does have this strange beauty to it. Looking forward to some of the better talked about levels that have different scenery.
Looks like it definitely has the Killzone look and feel to it, but with much better presentation. And better gameplay. All of which means it's a guaranteed buy for me.
Oh, the other thing that is going to take some getting used to, on my part, is using the pin to cover system. It's been awhile since I've had that as an option, and I like how it stays in first person and the peeking is very well implemented. Very well done, and looks to be an extremely enjoyable game. Multiplayer should be a blast too once all the options are there and at that point used to the controls.
Only complaint about the game itself, beyond my issues with adjusting to controls, and these two combined FAR from being deal breakers...
Like Warcrow stated in his Killzone 2 thread - the dialogue. What they are saying feels like it should be so natural for the situation, but the way it is delivered, it's kind of a disconnect. Oh well, turning off subtitles takes away the distraction and helps the dialogue kind of blend into the environment and situation, somewhat. Still a little jarring, and maybe it'll be better as the game progresses, or maybe it'll just grow on me.
I am looking forward to hearing ANYTHING from Visari, as I enjoyed him in the previous game. And any of the dialogue that is story-related should be much more enjoyable, just for the fact that it's the story and not just random utterances. We'll see. Definitely getting this game no matter what on release date.
And oh... a Friday release? Just noticed that, didn't realize the 27th was a Friday until I looked today.
