I think they'd rather get lebron and bosh, but you can't always get what you want.

I also disagree with the writer, except on the amare point. I can see amare and joe johnson might end up in NY together.

I'm hoping to see lebron in chicago, but I'll be happy as long as he leaves cleveland

I am a Knicks fan and while I know he'd be a big boost to the Knicks (even though he won't bring them a title, not yet right away), I can't stand him and his big ego. He represents everything I hate about pro sports athletes.

I'd rather the Knicks get Wade and Bosh and Lebrick stays in Cleveland with Shaq and loses 1st or 2nd round every year.

the only FA's worth max contract this go around are lebron and maybe wade.

bosh? what has he done in toronto with a talented core around him? miss the playoffs.
he's a talented big man with outside shooting touch, but he's a 2nd option at best. his height is his biggest upside.

joe johnson? can you say overrated? he is a slightly above average shooting guard. whoever signs him for max $ is going to be in for a big disappointment.

amare? if you can't win with nash, you're not going to win with anyone else (other than possible LBJ and wade).

boozer? zzzzz....

rudy gay? now he's the sleeper of the class. young and can only improve. sign him for slightly below max and you've made a solid acquisition.


too bad all the GM's are under the gun to make big signings and will overpay for all of these FA's.

Yeah his dominant 6/24 performance in the biggest game of his life sure did show people who the sheriff was in the NBA.

Kobe will steadily decline as will the Lakers. He has way way way too many miles on his legs.

This. Amare doesn't rebound and isn't aggressive AT ALL. He will fail without Nash feeding him points.

It is absolutely pathetic here, like a guy who won't stop chasing after a girl that won't give him the time of day, but he keeps begging her for a date anyway.

There have been 7 championships won without him, much farther playoff runs without him, etc. I'm sure we'll be fine. The Cavs should've been entertaining some of the other big name free agents this summer and attemtping to build a team instead of pandering to James.

i think you're wrong. lebron is the heart and soul of cleveland. what makes him different than other FA's is that he was born in nearby akron. he was annointed the "chosen one".

bosh does not want to come to cleveland. not even with lebron there. no one else wants to come to cleveland.

if they lose lebron, basketball will be dead in cleveland. that is why they are all over his nutsack.
