By the way, Gilbert is as 2-faced as the guy he's accusing. If he really, truly thought that Lebron was a quitter, poison for the team, etc., why did he offer Lebron 6 years, 120M to stay? He should have renounced the rights and started looking elsewhere at the start of the off season. Basically, he's just pissed that his golden goose for making money went away.

In other news, Brian Cook signed a 2 year deal with the Clippers. Take that, Miami!

Also, I believe Shaq was another superstar that ditched his 0 ring team to play for a winner.

If I'm not mistaken, the schedule isn't released yet. They'll wait a bit for all the signings etc., then set the schedule and holiday matchups etc.

I'm ashamed to be a Cleveland fan/resident right now - had LeBron resigned, we wouldn't be hearing any of the crap we are hearing today - it's shameful really.

Curious to see who the Heat are able to sign - looks like Mike Miller is in, but after that it will have to be veteran's minimum salaries only - Big Z at center? Shaq?

I don't know, the guy had a 1 hour ESPN special to spurn you, I'd be pretty upset too. If he had gone about this quietly, with a sense of humility, and without humiliating Cleveland, I'm sure the fans still wouldn't be happy, but I doubt they would have had this kind of reaction.

...The Heat are now going to be treated like rock stars in each away-game they have (like the Jordan-Pippen-Rodman tour), outside of Ohio of course, and it will make them all a helluva lot more money thru lucrative sponsorships.
And when they win a championship, which I honestly believe that they will, the new 'big-3' will gain even more respect among peers and fans worldwide. What happened last night will eventually become another dig against Cleveland's iniquities at best and an infrequently used parody against James at worst.
After all, this is America...all athletes need to do for respect and/or redemption is to win, and I think he's in a pretty good position to do that right now.
