I'm curious to see if pruning their roster will backfire on them, as most championship teams have good role players supplementing their stars, something Miami now can't afford.

I feel bad for Cleveland, but you have to look at the loyal greats on bad teams. Malone, KG, Barkley, Stockton, Payton, etc. Sometimes, you need to move to get a ring when everything seems to be judged on rings these days.

Harsh, KT. He's not a douche. He's just an extremely/uber talented 25 year old trying to make his way in the world.

He wants a championship before that fatal injury or his knees give out. The B-ball floor is unrelenting and the game is always there to take you the fuck out.

He took the safe route. I'll bet it really wasn't as easy as it looks from the outside. He might end up paying big time for all this, because NOTHING is guaranteed, NOTHING.

That said, I hope the Heat crash and burn. :awe:

Not sure he really cared about that if he decided to go to Miami. If they win a championship, none of that will matter in the end. This is kinda like the Boston Celtics, three superstars joining forces for the big picture. To win a championship. I now put Miami on par with the Lakers, not over them, because the Lakers obviously have more depth and a system that has proven to win over and over and over again with interchangeable parts. It would be kind of ironic however if Pat Riley should win a championship by beating the Lakers. Wouldn't it?

Lebron was winning games for the Cavs all by himself and so was Wade/Bosh pretty much. They are guaranteed a playoff spot with these three no matter what. They just need to be in tip top shape come the playoffs.
