oh, so the mcdonald's thing only applies to certain games? or just games you guys don't like? lol
no, but how can you not like Half-Life 2?
like, are you a freak?
because it's a mediocre fps...
Do you not appreciate the story, character devlopment, action, puzzles, cleverness, music, excellent control scheme, and plain fun, and just focus on the limited # of weapons or something?

Pick your favorite gun, enter that command, and see if you can still make it. No more crosshair, health bar, ammo count. For some reason it still draws your squadmate's health bars though.
And the command for changing up the zombie limits is z_common_limit.

Melee doesn't need a crosshair to destroy zombies, it's just too powerful of an attack...

Meh, I've seen my team get destroyed even while swinging away.

Normal is just for the console kidz.
Did you try expert? You really haven't played until you do it on expert..

This is true, I spent about 2 hours playing on expert yesterday and even though all 4 players were experienced, we only beat the demo a couple of times. The director made things extra tough near the end by throwing in a tank or two. Aside from running back and hiding in the air ducts, I have yet to figure out a consistent way to bring one of them down.

Doesn't look very good to me, so I'll probably skip it.
back that up? name the last game Valve released that didn't deliver.....
Some people just cant tell a good game from a bad one, its the whole reason EA is still in buisness. I struggle to believe it but some people dont like starcraft either... yeah its a crazy world the internet.

Its not that, I'm just not a fan of Zombie-games. All the plot seems the same. I'm sure it'll be fun for those who are interested.

taking down tanks are rather easy if you are lucky and encounter one in a good place
I have taken one almost solo at the ticket sales in the subway, just by running through the gates constantly in circles
also near one of the subway carts there are alot of pillars which help alot, though I have died more often than succeded there.

I don't play on console... that's why I have a steam ID... Expert is REALLY EASY. I have played through the entire first level on expert without getting hit once and doing A LOT OF MELEE attacks. Game is way too easy... I only get hurt by my team mates failure. (I.e. letting a zombie pass them to get me or shooting me)

I must have missed where you said you were playing on expert, I was assuming that it was easy for you because you were playing it on normal.
If it's that easy for you maybe some modders will come up with a way to make it more difficult. Also keep in mind that there are another 18 levels, we've only seen two. Maybe it will offer more challenges than we've seen.
I may look you up on Steam to see if you are as good as you say you are. Believe me, if I'm on your team you better be good, cuz you are going to be injured by friendly fire quite often.

Quick question about co-op:
If you don't have any Steam friends do you have to play with bots, or can join like 4 person servers playing the main story?
What if you quit, can you start from the level where you left off?
I am a little nervous about having to deal with people online, who can sometimes be total idiots which is while I don't usually play online games (like spraying random shit in CS:S, jumping around like 'tards, shooting their own teammates, spamming chat, etc.)

You can join others, and you can set it to pick where you want to play and what movie/part of the movie you want to play. You can play with the computer AI, but I find it 100% more fun with real people.
Also, just group with a bunch of ATOTers. I find most of them are sensible enough to not be jerks online. Actually, all of them are pretty damn swell to play with. That's what I'm doing.
On www.halflife2.net, I've group up with a bunch of lads from there, and I've been playing co-op with them for the whole time this demo has been released.
