If you guys honestly don't mind having a novice player in your league, then I'm definitely interested. I don't pull the cheese crap that you often see online, either. No Hail Mary's on 4th and 25, onside kicks in the 2nd quarter, or 200 yards rushing with Vick.

Figured I would add my review.

I have been playing Madden since the 2 minute drill demo on floppy.

I played 07 on PC and 07 on Xbox 360.

07 on 360 BBBBLLLLOOOOWWWWSSSS. Basically, if anyone has played 07 for PC, you will find the responsiveness of the controls EXTREMELY slow on 360. Players don't do what you tell them to do. The PC version is 100% better. Better responsiveness, better gameplay all around.

This isnt even including the presentation, as others have mentioned before.

Gameplay - 360 version sucks. It is totally 3 steps backwards in terms of fun. Running game is awful. There is basically no skill outside of following blocks. Passing game requires no skill. It is a crap shoot if your WR catches it. PC version on the other hand, allows for much more of a realistic feel.

Pre-snap adjustments. Basically, the PC version wins this hands down. It is too slow and annoying to make hot routes/audibles in the next gen version (What happen to playmaker control???)

No Madden/Michaels. No Fantasy Draft. No Accel Clock???

This is a glorified arcade game. Purists like myself will have a hard time enjoying this arcady gameplay.

I am so disappointed. How can you TAKE FEATURES OUT?!?!? Oh EA, I usually dont get involved in the bashing, but seriously, this is trash.

Agreed - I had the 360 version, and it was the final straw that caused me to sell my 360 system. The PC version is fantastic this year - widescreen resolutions would be a nice plus, but the gameplay is smoooooooth. Graphics look better than the 360 to me, and the atmosphere/announcing/playcalling is all MUCH better.

Get the PC version - it's even lower priced!

I rented the PS2 version last week, and liked the running features and Superstar mode (I skipped 06). It's too bad that there are bugs that shouldn't be there, the game tends to stutter a lot for a second or two after a play or touchdown and it's annoying. It even froze randomly in Superstar mode once. Seems that many people on all platforms are having problems with the game. I didn't like the music either, but those with the 360 and PC versions don't have to deal with that. I'll stick with 05 for now, missing a few features but it's not a huge deal. Get the 360 or PC version, they might release patches to fix the bugs if you want to buy 07 at all.
