I think its more of his personality that people like rather than his fighting style. He'll always apologize at the end of the fight and people will cheer him on.
People will always hate Mayweather for whatever reason they want. Manny is God's warrior so he'll always be loved.
So my question for you boxing buffs.. This was a catch weight fight right?
people are still salty?
Doubtful that it will ever happen since the contract was only for a rematch if Mayweather lost. But money talks and people won't be willing to spend/bet for another "fight.So.... when is the rematch?

You underestimate peoples stupidity.
Its amazing. Whats funny is no one gave a crap about Mayweather when he never got in trouble and was just a great boxer. Then he intentionally became a wrestling heel and is now laughing all the way to the bank. The Mayweather family seem to know how to push those buttons. I remember his uncle Roger was calling himself the Mexican Assassin which culminated in a big fight with Julio Cesar Chavez.
Wait, what? Mayweather has a shitload of domestic violence incidence and he spent a couple months in jail for one of those... him beating his wives/girlfriends is one of the reasons why people hate him, probably the biggest reason really. Nobody cares if you're cocky, but wife beating makes you a pariah.
After seeing what a sore fucking loser Pacman is I hope he retires. It's funny all his fans claim he's the nicest most humble guy on the planet. But after the other night he's double dipped pretzel on the salty scale. I absolutely love how he said "I could have hit him if he didn't move so much" LUL.
I laughed at his excuse that they didn't let him get the whatever injection to help with his shoulder before the fight they promised him. 5 years ago he was deathly afraid of needles to the point it was one of the main reasons he turned down the initial contract Floyd offered him. Fuck that cry baby he got owned, but claims he won and has come with nothing but excuses since. He doesn't deserve a rematch unless it's an 80/20 split. He ranked bottom 5 for landing the least amount of punches on Floyd ever.
Paquiao is not a good fighter. He never was. If you go to a gym and watch boxer train and compare to beloved patriot you will see that beloved patriot is nothing special. I have seen 2 fighters that train in our local gym and they went on to fight in big event. I got to know one of them really well. That time he told me they have not seen a good fighter since mike tyson. The boxing community had to put someone out there that they can make money on. When beloved patriot came out and the filipino community started shelling out money and idolized him. beloved patriot hit the jackpot. He just had a good promoter. As they say follow the money. Name someone that beloved patriot fought that was really good? None.
The 2 boxer I know one of them went on to fight mike tyson. LOL
I dont know how bad his injury was but some guys I know that torn the rotator its pretty painful..
After the contract he signed shit saying he wasn't injured and able to fight. So now he got clowned by Mayweather and will probably end up getting sued and potentially losing a few million of his purse. He knew he couldn't beat Floyd so this injury is perfect, he was going to lose any way. But with this injury he will always be able to bring up a "what if I had been healthy"
brilliant move on his part.

While it's not an official contract, Floyd said on ESPN he would give Manny a rematch in a year after he's healed up. I HOPE this happens so I can win enough money to retire. Pac fans and Floyd haters will always bet against him. I'll be rich if this rematch actually comes to fruition.
How exactly would you get rich off of it?
