The roughly 500 tickets released to the public sold out within minutes last week, but the resale market -- minus an initial blip after tickets were committed to the promoters, sponsors and high rollers -- has started to fall.
More than 30 tickets sold early Friday on StubHub, as of 9:45 a.m. ET, for an average price of $3,899. That's compared to 156 tickets that sold for an average of about $800 more on Thursday ($4,693). Perhaps the most troubling sign for those selling tickets is that 10 tickets sold for less than the investment in the ticket, after fees.
One broker on Friday was offering to sell a block of 13 seats, with a $5,000 ticket value, for $5,100 each.
More than 1,000 tickets are currently on the online resale market, and an untold number of seats are available on the ground in Las Vegas.
MGM only showed 2 room rates, $498 for 2 nights, then $2700.
That's what I saw too. The cheaper room is 350 sq ft. That's super small but damn the prices did plummet on some of these places.
Especially if the outcome is really close and controversial. Then it will generate $250 million or more for a rematch. But that's pretty unlikely. Mayweather ducked Manny long enough for Manny's fighting style to catch up with him. He's taken a lot more punishment than Mayweather and it shows. I don't think he has the intensity or hand speed to get through Floyd's defense. So it will be, as mentioned above, another "typical Lameweather boring ass 12 round decision". And that's probably for the best. If it's a one-sided snoozefest at least we'll be spared the hype of doing this again. Too bad Mayweather is such a pussy, it would have been a good fight 7 years ago.
I hope Pacquiao knocks Mayweather the fuck out, nobody should get out of boxing with a perfect record, not even the greats could do that, this guy has been avoiding fights his whole career.
I love how Pacquiao said "Thank you" to his face at the weigh in, this guy cant wait to get to work on Mayweathers's face, a good old remodeling is in order.

Manny was offered 2 different contracts in the past 5 years, both of which he turned down. The 1st was due to the Olympic style testing Mayweather insisted on. Pac had maybe the lamest excuse ever why he wouldn't agree to it. Look it up if you don't know what he said. Maybe it was an odd demand to make, sure. But the next 3 people who fought Floyd all agreed to it, one being a dude who was popped for PED's a number of years ago.
2nd time it was 70/30 split with no PPV revenue for Pac. Manny said that was totally unfair and demanded an even split of everything. Since then he's gone on to fight 5 times probably not making total what he would have made for that 1 fight had he signed the contract.
People saying Floyd ducking him is a lot of hearsay and speculation. Now about the 2 contracts? Pac absolutely turned them both down. There hasn't been a day in the pasty 6 years where if thre fight had happened Mayweather wouldn't have been favored to win on the betting lines. But he's scared? lol

Such a long-winded response with such a limited understanding is usually reserved for, well, ATOT. You honestly believe those contracts were honest attempts to make a fight? They were clearly attempts to offer contracts that Floyd Pussyweather knew Manny wouldn't accept and pretty much every person with an understanding of the situation knew it instantly. It fooled NOBODY!! Well, okay, it fooled you, but it fooled nobody with a clue. Every person in boxing has been laughing at Mayweather about those "contracts" from the moment they hit the table.
Who exactly has Floyd avoided? When he fought Hatton, Hatton was considered the #2 guy in the world and was suppose to be the dude to end his streak. He fought Cotto, he fought DLH, Mosley, Marquez, Castillo x2. Baldomir, Judah, Gatti and Corrales. People say he ducked DLJ & Mosley and waited until they were older and past their prime. But both refused fights with him ages before they ended up fighting him. I can't think of many dudes he ducked. The majority of his opponents were belt holders or top level contenders.
DLH
Hatton
Marquez
Mosley
in that order, probably 4 of the toughest fights he could have had. Who's the last chump he fought? I'll wait for your answer.
