Not to mention the fact it was in the high 20s. Bud Selig needs to cut two weeks off the season and start the playoffs earlier. Imagine next year if the Rockies and Twins make the World Series. Game 7 could potentially be in MN or CO on NOVEMBER 5th! Ridiculous.

Anyway, I wasn't here yesterday, so I couldn't post about the Red Sox agony. Needless to say, I didn't think they were going to come all the way back against the Angels, but I never predicted a meltdown on that scale. Papelbon was in, facing the bottom 3rd of the Angels order, with a two run lead, and couldn't pull it out? Wow. Part of me is tempted to turn on sports talk radio this morning and see what the idiots are suggesting the team do.

After yesterday, I could see placing 1/2 of New England on a suicide watch.

I am very happy with Detroit for putting up an awesome fight at the 1-game playoff last week and giving everyone a good show. Honestly, that was such an epic game that the Twins getting swept by the Yankees didn't even bother me that much. Never really expected the Twins to get anywhere with the Yankees anyway.

I should be back when the World Series start. I just got back on solid ground, so I should be able to catch most games. At least Taiwan has a couple ESPN channels to broadcast the games.

A Freeway series will definitely be badass. My closest friend I knew since we were little kids is a die-hard Angels fan (his mom started labor while she was at an Angel's game.. so he popped out into this world as a Angels fan; just couldn't wait). This is the first time both Angels and Dodgers swept their opponents in their respective DS's, no?

If there's a Freeway series, oh man, many friends, family, and acquaintances will be pure enemies for a week :| :|
