The biggest tip I ever got with claymores was use the scavenger perk. Easy to hit killstreaks by having claymores everywhere.

You can only have 2 claymores at a time if you use OMA, can you lay unlimited amounts if you scavenge them?

Nope, even with scavenger you can only have 2 at a time. Lay a 3rd and #1 will explode.

I guess I never noticed that. Well 2 is still worth having and if placed correctly will be used up quickly.

Yeah I can secure almost any building if I strategically put two claymores down. At the very least if they go off but don't kill the person I will still know someone is coming.

Yeah, two is really all ya need for most buildings. I'm glad they didn't make the number allowed any higher or it would have been ridiculous trying to traverse them.

I thought those things were horribly cheesy, they never seemed to work for me. I swear I threw 200 of 'em before I picked up the "detect 10 people with the recon mine" achievement.

Yeah but that's because the maps were so big in BC2. In MW2 they would work pretty good.

I prefer guns with greater range. I consider using hardline all the time, would mean 4 kills would get me going on my steamrolling instead of 5. I only use UAV if I play hardcore, otherwise it is worthless to me.

But I already have a radar in SC and most people don't use silencers. UAV isn't that helpful to me in SC, and much fewer people use cold-blooded than people think in hardcore. Using UAV means losing one of my killstreaks, and I'll get a lot more kills with those than with UAV.

I'll chock it up to a difference in play styles, when I'm using a run and gun class UAV is fantastic. Much smaller chance of running into someone you weren't expecting.

I'm always expecting someone though, that's why I can't play hardcore. I shoot teammates that sneak up on me.

I suck at HC as well, although not for accidental team killing reasons (although when playing with friends I seem to have an abnormally high amount of team-called Predators landing on me...even when I call out my position. Hmmmmmmm...)

LoL I just joined a game at the end. I got 2 kills. I was rewarded clutch player and most rescues. I was the best person on the team and we won, and I got only 2 kills. Sometimes I wonder.

for some reason I'm not able to get a nuke :/

My 2 little brothers where able to do get them...but not for me. they're pretty good...quick scope devils lol.

Oh well, it'll just be a dream.

I have never gotten a nuke and never plan on it. My best streak is 21 kills, so even if I had the nuke as a killstreak I would have never had an opportunity to use it. If it came in care packages I would have gotten it.

I could probably get one pretty easy, I've just no desire to try. It sort of takes the fun out of the game and entices people to camp alot. I've hit a 25 killstreak several times (my highest is 28, it should be higher as the game disconnected me right when I hit 28 ).

It's a vessel for people to brag about how great they are...when 95% of 'em are boosting with their buddies.

I've never had a nuke either, ive tried but once i reach the chopper gunner i do horrible with it and dont get enough kills, i'll be lucky if i get 5 kills out of the chopper gunner so that leaves me with needing 9 more kills, yea right.

i have had a 26 killstreak so im technically capable of it but still seems distant

Depending on the map, I can easily get the needed kills for a nuke with chopper gunner. The hard part is getting the chopper gunner in the first place.

Getting a nuke requires some help from teammates at times. Most of my nukes have come while playing with friends. Once my harrier comes up, I ask that they all don't rush into the spot that I wll be bombing the opponent with my ac 130 from. Most of the time, the enemy will all respawn at the same location, and you just keep bombing at them.
