I can't help it I was owning people on trailer park, if you know I am there and you don't hit me with a tube or a semtex then your a dummy. I don't like camping like that but if we are playing a objective type game and I am helping my team win then so be it.

It's not like I was using one man army and setting up a big blast zone, I used scavenger pro, danger close pro, and ninja pro. Hell if its not broke dont fix it ya know

I'm glad that DC and Commando are gone and I'm fine with them axing stopping power IF they bump up the power of all the weapons a bit. Hardcore kills too quickly, non-stopping power'd weapons (for most weapons at least) kill too slowly. There's that happy middle ground I'm looking for. I too hope that quick scoping is gone, so annoying (although not as bad as the jumping snipers in CoD 4).

As for C4 I suppose camping may make it more useful although the guys who throw it on top of a flag on domination and go off until they hear "flag being captured" by the other team I like more.

Most ridiculous game I've played in we won 75-14, it was bad.

I used to do that in BF2 all the time, so much fun.

You missed it, last night I played some more and there were 5 of us in our party...all 5 of us were running marathon/lightweight w/UMP45's. It was hillarious, the other team gave up partway through (we won 75-32 or so).

I played a bit earlier, but good lord it was ridiculous. I was having an off night, likely in part due to my frustration, but it seemed every match I got put against some really good players or with some really bad ones. The worst was on Domination - none of my teammates even gave a shat about getting the damn flags! They were more interested in talking about how mean their brother is (not kidding) and we were just getting wasted.

In one match I even got the remaining two flags and we had them dominated. WE LOST 200-199 :twisted:

Ah those games are so frustrating and I mute every single person who has a mic. Most of the time, it's a person playing music (which I never understand), little kids talking, static, or people who talk needlessly or incessantly.

In addition to people not getting flags, another source of frustration is when people just get mowed down by kill streaks rewards. I played domination on Afghanistan in ground war earlier and someone on the other team got an ac130 and yet people weren't running for cover and bunching up. Of course, the guy kept getting 3-4 kills every time. He must've gotten like 15+ kills from that and sure enough got the nuke. Snore! During that time, when I did happened to get killed once, I got spawned right next to another guy who got hit by the ac130 so of course I died too. Sometimes, I just hate the spawning locations.

I hate that, but it usually means a good game too. I had a HORRIBLE loss tonight. We were behind on Wasteland and I got lucky with a care package, got chopper gunner. Pulled it back and it was 74 to 72. Know how we lost? Noob toob got a triple kill. WTFD:

I couldn't sleep last night so I played a few rounds of MW2. The last one I played was one of my best games ever, not score-wise, but sheer presense-wise. On Terminal I ran my UMP setup and started off on the escalator side. Sprinted up and straight through the gift shop, knifed their sniper who was running at me. Kept going and he stopped to aim at someone near Burger Town so I knifed him again. Then I ran to burger town, shot 2 of his buddies and knifed a 3rd. Those were the first 5 kills of the match and the entire process took less than 30 seconds, so we had a predator up pretty quickly.

Other than that though the whole time I had the worst luck I've ever had with care packages. In 15 or so packages I got ammo at least 8 times, Counter UAV and UAV the rest (except for one predator).

I hate that, but it usually means a good game too. I had a HORRIBLE loss tonight. We were behind on Wasteland and I got lucky with a care package, got chopper gunner. Pulled it back and it was 74 to 72. Know how we lost? Noob toob got a triple kill. WTFD:

Ooh, that does suck. I got frusterated in one of my games because we lost by 600 or so, I looked at the scores and we had not one, not two, but 3 guys with less than 7 kills and 15-21 deaths each...how can you win like that?

Have you ever pulled 4 UAVs in an Emergency Air Drop? Talk about useless...

I apparently should play more Search & Destroy. I played some Team Tactical with a couple friends last night and every time S&D came up I was the top player. I've been doing pretty poorly on TDM compared to normal lately, so maybe I'll just have to switch it up for a while.

On yet another tangent, I had my greatest Semtex kill ever last night on Scrapyard. Chucked a Semtex from just past C to a guy up on the little hill by that square concrete building behind B and stuck him right as it blew. Laughed my ass off, too!

Sadly my game wasn't good. We were getting demolished constantly, so I waited until I knew they were assaulting another flag and I Marathon/LW/Commando'd my way to their furthest flag. And still we lost

Ah man, sometimes PSN is so laggy. Played TDM on Afghanistan on ground war earlier and the host was the only one that wasn't lagging which made his chopper gunner (x2) and whatever other kill streak rewards he had even more effective. He must have finished like 81-7 with the next highest kill total at around 17? It was terrible to watch even though our side won ><

Finally unlocked my M16 again, going back to using that. Stinger as secondary since it helps for leveling. Kind of wished I hadn't prestiged, had the M16 completely unlocked with all camos before.

What killstreaks do you guys usually go with? I've been going care package/missile/harrier, unless I'm on Derail which then I swap care package for pavelow.

Camos arent that big of a deal (I don't use any on my weapons) and the attachments, minus extended mags, aren't that difficult to unlock.

You weren't lying about COD4 on Veteran Kabob. Turns out I beat the SP on Hardened, but had switched from Veteran like 1/3 of the way through. I tried playing more on Veteran and it is ridiculous. I think I will be skipping out on that.

I also spent some time in COD4 MP and it was neat at first. But it's gotten old after advancing from level 1 to the teens. Lack of variety of weapons, seems like the rotation keeps playing the same 3-4 maps over & over.

I'm going to play it a bit more, but likely dump it on the used market.

I'm starting to miss the ACR. I just can't get into the groove of using the M16 anymore since I changed my play style. Although I don't know if the ACR will replace my UMP. But a couple hundred more kills and I'll have the UMP done anyway.

Got my stealth title among others tonight. Completely dominated on Skidrow against 2 clans. They were terribad. I got chopper gunner before my first death and just held it. Ended the match with it. I can't wait for Black Ops and theater mode.

I agree completely, but if the RPD is like the SCAR-H power-wise, the MG4 is like the ACR. Lower damage but with the grip it has no recoil at all.

I'm starting to miss the ACR. I just can't get into the groove of using the M16 anymore since I changed my play style. Although I don't know if the ACR will replace my UMP. But a couple hundred more kills and I'll have the UMP done anyway.

The ACR is a weapon that alot of people miss but I prefer the M4 myself so losing it isn't that big of a deal.

Well, I wanted to get to Prestige 9 lvl 70 before I stopped playing MW2, with Reach coming out I'll at least be taking a break from it. I'm at Prestige 8 lvl 57 or so.

Question on smoke. If I throw a smoke grenade, can I see through it? On more than one occasion I have been killed through smoke. I could not see the other person at all, but watching the killcam they had zero smoke on their screen when they shot at me. I looked like an idiot staring at them and not shooting.

i played a few games with the most annoying 2 people i have ever encountered. Not that they were good or anything just annoying. They both seemed to have the m1401 (or whatever the lvl54 unlock shotgun is) marathon/lightweight/commando. All they would do is run all over jumping. Like good old CS days of bunny hopping. All they would use is their shotguns too. Was just annoying to kill them. They both did ok. Like -1 KDR most games with a few negative KDR.

Just my god it was annoying seeing someone jumping around in front of you.

Nope, you can't see through smoke, thermal scopes see through smoke though (or you can get lucky I suppose).

Maybe it's similar to how sometimes a flash/stun will go off in my vicinity, in my line of sight somewhere, but I won't be affected.

Or maybe it's a glitch in the PS3 killcam?

It happens sometimes. Even though you stun/flash near them, it doesn't always stun/flash. Its happened a decent amount of the time to me. I throw a stun or two knowing someone's there and get the X in the crosshairs indicating that I got him. I run in and then get mowed down wondering what the hell just happened.
