Now I understand how people go like 30 - 3. I got a "Pavelow" (I still don't know what it is) from a carepackage and all I know is it flew overhead and pretty much raped. The first really good round I've had yet, I ended with like 16-1-3. I'm guessing other kill streak / care package bonuses can be just as effective to inflate your score.

With that said, I've run into a few more things.

Best way to kill vehicles? Mostly I've had issues with the damn jets/choppers that hover overhead with the gunners in them. Are guns effective against them at all, or are you better off just avoiding them until you die to switch classes? Also haven't used the RPGs hardly at all yet, do you have to aim them or is there any sort of tracer dart system ala BC2?

Does completing perk challenges actually increase the effectiveness of the perk? Or only when you finally unlock the "pro" perk after the 4th (?) challenge? And how much more effective is a 'pro' perk?

Also knife range still seems pretty ridiculous. And the splash damage on (I think) the grenade launcher attachments is pretty obscene, I'm gettin' died from so far away lol. All in all it's becoming more enjoyable though.

The guns for the most part are kinda useless on aircraft. Stick to using launchers on them. Completing the perk challenges unlocks extras for the particular perk. Like with Marathon, default is unlimited sprint. Marathon Pro is unlimited sprint with faster climbing. And yes, the grenade launcher is goddamn annoying as are the full auto shotguns and the akimbo ranger. Such cheap ass weapons, when you're on the receiving end that is.

On a side note, if you're up for some special ops add me on XBL. I'm trying to knock them all out and doing some of them on my own is a pain in the ass.

Finally got a Nuke.

Playing TDM on Sub Base. Got 10 kills right off the bat using only the Spas, called in a Pave-Low, that got me to 15. Then I called in the Chopper Gunner and luckily for me 5 out of the 6 weren't using cold blooded, that got me to 26.

I could have probably kept the game going a bit longer, but it was over in less than 3 minutes.

This feels like a dumb question, but does/did anyone else sometimes have trouble differentiating between enemies and friendlies?

The majority of the time the simple lack of a nameplate is good enough, and on some maps where the team appearances are substantially different it helps as well. But, particularly when rounding corners or just kind of suddenly 'bumping into' a "unit" I'll see the nameplate, assume friendly and get jacked. Is there something I'm missing? I am mildly colorblind which doesn't make it any easier, but the nameplate colors seem kind of random anyway.

Shoot first ask questions later? Just seems like a bad habit to get into for playing anything else

haha... man. I got my nuke emblem legit. Took me forever to get it. I still remember... first nuke was highrise and last nuke was highrise. First nuke..m16.. last nuke..ump.

The last one was the sweetest. Rushed up the middle halls underneath all the way to enemy spawn. killed 3 on the way there, stabbed 2 snipers trying to look diagnally at our spawn, jumped outside and stabbed 2 more. Hid underneath stairs and called in harrier that murked and got me to the AC-130. After that was done, I just needed two more. Ran upstairs and they were right in front of me. Shot one, stabbed the other, and game over.

If I recall, the first one was just as good if not better. Was playing Highrise dom with randoms. Getting pwned and spawn camped at the A side. I camped the hallway underneath and got 3 kills. Decided to try my luck and attempt to make it to the other side. Killed 4 people on my way to the C spawn, and got to my harrier. Hid at the back of C while the team started spawning there, and got out my AC-130. By the time I was done, just needed 1 more kill. No ammo left in the m16 so I spazzed out for my last kill. The team was down 180-50 or so and we won with the nuke.

Haha, I think I remember all of my nuke matches.

Yap.. get into a habit of shooting first and asking later in COD. Don't do that in HC mode though.

Yea, what's funny is after I got that nuke on Sub Base, about two maybe three games later I got another one playing Skidrow.

I wasn't even trying, I was playing with a friend who is pretty bad so I just having some fun. I used my UMP/DEagle class, with LW, M, SA (forgot to put commando back on). I started out pretty badly, like 2-6 or something. Then out of nowhere I'm not paying attention just stabbing and shooting people, and I end up with a Pave-low. That got me to the chopper gunner, but someone shot that down at about 23. I had to earn the last two I was on the Rangers side heading towards the hallway, luckily for me two guys came around the corner and I took them both out.

The whole thing was pretty cool. Never in over a year had I actually gotten a nuke, then I got two in one sitting. Sucks that you need 5 kills to get the fun spinning emblem.

You need 10 nukes for the emblem.. 5 for the End of line title.
