I don't use the same weapon all the time. Odds are I'll have 300 kills within the next 5 levels of getting it, and have everything unlocked shortly afterwards. In that time, I'll probably get red or blue tiger.
I don't think I could hit 11 kills without any assistance from other killstreaks often enough for it to be worth it. Remember, care packages and emergency air drops don't add to your streak, only your points. But some people are just way better than me.
Harrier / Pave Low / Chopper Gunner is probably the best line up ... best lineup to get to Nuke is probably Pave Low / Chopper Gunner / TacNuke using Hard Line.
I have to disagree, I think the best is:
(5) Predator missile
(7) Harrier Strike
(11) Chopper Gunner/AC130
Its fairly easy to get to 5 kills, esp if someone else on your team has UAV. If you can manage to get a double kill with the missile you instantly have a harrier. Typically Harrier gets 3-4 kills right off the bat if the other team is lazy and doesn't shoot it down asap. That'll get you to 11 kills for the CG or the AC130, depending on the map you can get at least another 6 kills from that. If you play it right you can do all that twice in a game.
plus I believe the pavelow bug is still in the game which doesn't add its kills to your killstreak
That used to be my lineup, and I'm really fond of it - but I've found that sometimes the predator can be unreliable. You can't be killed during the harrier and pave low, so it does increase your odds of continuing.

The problem with the Pave Low is that unless it's the first Pave Low OR Sentry Gun called in for the whole match, it won't count toward your kill streak. Both of those rewards are affected.
The Pave Low is still a great way to get kills and you don't have to leave yourself defenseless in a corner somewhere, but it's better as a final killstreak because of that bug.
this game gets on my nerves sometimes with people automatically yelling "camper! ffcken camping!" To the point I yell back "stupid noob running" and then the game vocally goes down hill from there. Almost never fails.
just because I'm using a sniper rifle? I AM using a sniper rifle and usually the Intervention with a single shot! Isn't that what snipers do? besides, I never stay in one position, there's no action. I run around like I have an assault or sub using my sniper in close quartered favored maps and still pop people with better angle positioning. I hear my gamertag called out and camper this, camper that...etc. all game. *sigh*
and if I was camping? well, after I shot you, you know where I am. Advantage goes to you right? throw a grenade there then! Oops, just shot you again, but this time from the opposite building. "ffcken camper!" You called me a camper, but I mysteriously shot you from the opposite building?
some players just can't get over the fact or adjust their game that some players like using a little more skill instead of brainlessly running around running and gunning with their sub, assault or MG. And with the exception of the subs, you can still hit people from long distance with those guns. but still they cry and yell "camper"
yes, I like using the sniper rifles. I personally think, in my opinion, it takes a little more skill to line up a shot, instead of spraying in the general direction with a MG. I enjoy the one shot one kill satisfaction, and the headshot kills is just icing on the cake. I'm sure many players here love that sensation too! In MW1, I use to run around on the main lower deck with just the M40A3 sniper rifle on the Container map (the freighter boat). The most sniper unfriendly map (without hiding in the upper deck).
These guys crying about camping should be crying and yelling to those guys that noob tube all game. Zero skill really, it's not like you have to hit the target, just shoot the grenade near them and you got a kill. You don't even have to aim, just fire from the hip. It's a big joke when they come in 1st in FFA and said they just owned all of us. Smack talking from noob tubing all game...LOL...umm, yeah, okay.

lol, i do find myself out of ammo often, i should probably use scavenger pro at some point, since a lot of times i hate the weapons i pick up.
i tried using the m16 again last night after not using it for a long time, and i was horrible with it, i put the holo sight on it because someone said it did more damage, i think i do better with just the iron sights even with lesser damage.
for awhile there everyone was shooting down harriers/choppers but lately it seems nobody is equipping launchers, so i started carrying one again, easier than just hiding in a building for the 2-3 minutes it's out there.
