Kill streaks are 30-60 seconds I thought? Nothing more than a minute.

Sure feels like 2 minutes if you don't have cold blooded and a stinger equiped.

Holo sight only increases damage on the FAL, it doesn't up the damage on the M16. Luigi said that it increases the accuracy, I've never tested that before though.

The M16 is a good weapon, I'd put Stopping Power on it to make it a 2-3 hit kill weapon. At mid-long range with decent accuracy it's tough to beat.

The holo sight increases the minimum (aka long range) damage on the FAL just enough to make it a two-shot kill at all ranges with stopping power. Without the holo sight, the FAL doesn't need stopping power as it's a 2-3 shot kill either way.

It links to a YouTube video showing that the bullet spread on the M16 with the holographic sight is tighter than when using a red dot sight.

Some people at that message board have found that the FAMAS does its max damage for a longer range than the M16 does, but to balance it out, the M16 reloads much faster.

I swear the Pave Low lasts longer than 60 seconds. I've put one or two up that felt like they were up for 2 1/2-3 minutes.

I play on PC, but when there is a harrier/chopper and I die, I immediately hit escape and switch classes to a class that has cold blooded, scavenger and a launcher. Blows my mind that no one else thinks of that...

so simple i never thought of that, good idea

I played for the first time in a couple weeks last night (I was in Vegas and then busy) and I had one of my favorite pat myself on the back moments.

It was Wasteland. There was a sniper that got me who was back behind the larger house on the edge of the map where there are like three houses lined up.

I respawned and went to kill him and as I was making my way over there I hear "Enemy emergency air incoming" and when i got to the back of the house i saw the flare for the drop right outside the back door but no sign of the sniper.

I figured he was in the house waiting for the airdrop to come. I crawled to the edge of the door and set a claymore there and then went back to the edge of the house to wait.

Sure enough as soon as the airdrop came he stepped through the door right into the claymore and boom.

The first of his airdrops i got was a sentry gun. Set that up right away in front of the other boxes to protect me and I ended up getting all four of his packages!!! There were two sentries, a precision airstrike and a predator.

I prefer them so I don't waste an attachment on a sight.

The red-dot sight seemed make the AUG less jumpy. Otherwise, I use iron sights because I need something else as an attachment more.

I always used a red dot sght until recently...been sticking with iron sights and I'm surprised at how well I transitioned.

lol those are the best, unless it is done to you. we had someone guy care package glitching and stealing EVERYONES drops by super running/knifing. it was so lame i just stopped calling for packages.

Yah. Dying in front of my care package can throw off my game completely. I have to learn to just forget about it.

I was dominating in a TDM at terminal a few nights ago. I prestiged recently, so right now I'm CP+predator+Harrier. I went 7 straight kills, then used my predator, harrier, and decided to drop my CP. Enemies spawn behind me and kill me. It was just another predator, but I was so adamant on getting it back. I died like 4 times in a row.
Ended the match 18-6 after going 15-0.

I turned off CP right after and put on UAV. I think I called in about 4 UAVs on the next match. Couldn't get over 4 straight kills. 3 and die, pretty much. Helped out the team a bit though.

i do that all the time too, i will die 11tybillion times just to get my counter uav back, or kill the guy who stole it, when its better off to just let it go

Yeah, I know the grip is less jumpy but the red-dot just seemed to make it less jumpy for me as well.

I think the best IS in the game is the L86 - very simple, along the lines of the SCAR.

game last night i had was funny, wasteland, i was using the m21 build (silencer, commando pro, stopping power pro, ninja pro) anyways i joined when the game was close to being over, i sprinted over to the church side and there was a sniper there already, he missed his shot and i g18'd him somehow lol, so i continue to move against that side up towards the wrecked cars. and sure enough, the sniper guy comes back over to the church side to take me out throwing fb's randomly trying to see where i was, i just picked him off and moved again, repeat 7x and i went 7-2 due to being
predator'd and chopper'd. all my kills were on him.

he must have wanted to kill me bad cuz he kept coming back and cussing @ me calling me a noob and saying i'm hiding like a little bitch.

LOL. yep, this is what I have to hear all the time. I'll play just like you, constantly moving, squatting, looking, moving, shooting, moving. "you suck you camper!" If I miss with my sniper and he's close to me, I'll switch to my pistol to take them out. It only gets them more mad. "you suck with your psssy little pistol" okay, but you have your assault rifle and I only have my little pistol, but you still died. There's no reasoning with logic like that with those guys. I actually don't mind really, because they are so mad and frustrated, they get off their game and just increase my kill count

I threw two flares down at the same time for a sentry and a pavelow in Rundown. Some guy got me, took both of my packages. He went 30-3 as no one was shooting down the pavelow, set up the sentry on the roof and the rest of everyone was under 10 kills for the FFA game. I myself died from both my pavelow and from my own sentry that I called in! I always feel insulted when I get killed from my own call ins. LOL. *shakes head*

I remember the first (and last) time I called in an EAD. It was on Scrapyard. Someone killed me and took all four of the EAD packages. I don't remember what they were but at least one was pretty good, like a Pave Low or AC-130 or something.

i will just try to jack someone else's from now on.

I'm with you on that, the iron sights are more than manageable on almost every gun. I only use a sight attachment for the challenges, then it's back to the suppressor.

I'm the same way. I WANT my crate and I'll go out of my way to try and get it back. I always try to find a spot near my team to drop a flare to prevent being over-run by enemies. Sometimes though as I'm working my way to a safe spot, my team keeps pressing forward and I end up waiting for a crate right in the heart of the enemy spawn area. Then I'm dead and spawning on the other side of the map from where I was.

Heh. My problem with the care package isn't so much with them getting stolen (I can think of only two times this happened to me) but with the fact that I always get the Ammo instead of something I could really use like a Harrier or Pave Low.
