Just my opinon. I havent enjoyed them since they seem to invite much more camping since there are so many blind corners.

While Trailer Park does have lots of camping spots it also has a TON of spots to flank from. I had a fantastic round there the other day running around with the Vector, I mean run straight, turn left and you're behind 3 guys!

Carnival isn't as campy, I LOVE the setting and the map is laid out pretty well. Neither compare to Crash or Crossfire or anything, but they're solid!

I don't know man, people camp the hell out of the rocket area and the funhouse. It's pretty much Estate, minus the hills.
But I agree about Trailer Park. After learning the rhythm, I kind of like it now.
However, for the most part the new maps aren't good at all. Everytime I think they are okay, one of the older ones come up like Crash. And any of those classic maps trump anything else. I hope they do some more, but I doubt it. Activision has to protect the franchise. So as Black Ops gets closer, the likelyhood of new ones will drop.
I remember when they promised all sorts of playlists for CoD4, but it never happened. They had to protect WoW.

From the 10 new maps those that I really like are:
Salvage
Crash
Trailer Park
Carnival

Those that are decent are:
Storm
Strike
Vacant
Fuel

Those that I'm not a fan of are:
Overgrown
Bailout

I can't complain with that, especially compared to my feelings with the original MW2 maps.

Did anyone notice that when you get flashed or stunned the effects happen but your screen dosn't flash white?

Yep, I noticed that too. My HUD disappears but I can still see fine.

It depends on how close said flash/stun grenade is to you. If it's right on you it messes you up, it's it's got a little distance or there's some obstruction between you and it it doesn't do much.

Maybe I was just lucky over the weekend and didn't get hit full on by any . I had my HUD disappear quite a few times though, and prior to this last week I don't remember having that happen.

I've definitely been flashed and stunned before, my screen goes white and there's a ringing.

I have before. It used to go totally white, like it should. I can confirm it doesn't now. Over lunch I played a game, and I threw a flashbang that I would see and it didn't do anything to me aside from take away my HUD.

Yeah, I think I had this on a game in Vacant. Maybe it's a PS3 bug? I've had a few games sessions fail due to a "Client Overeflow" error about three times in the last two days, too.

Hrm, maybe it is a PS3 thing then, I'm pretty sure I've been flashed in the past few days awe and my screen has gone white but I'm on the 360.

Yeah it sounds like a PS3 bug. I might as well switch to smoke until it's fixed.

Two WEIRD thing today:
1)People are teleporting to the minigun in trench on Wasteland. I would aim for a sniper, and then I am dead. Kill cam show the sniper teleporting to the minigun and killing me.
I recorded a random teammate doing this as well.
2) Predators are FAST. Without boosting it via trigger, they are hard to control.
If you do press the trigger, it's instant death for anybody in the center of the screen...they can't run away..it really is INSTANT.

I can't believe how bad nuke boosting has gotten lately. I swear it seems like every other game someone is boosting. It just ruins the game.

They need to remove tactical insertion. That would get rid of boosting entirely.

There has certainly been an increase in boosting recently. No idea why. No FFA game appears to be free of it.

I called out a guy last night, called him a cheater, and he says, 'I'M not cheating, I'm just helping my friend!! I'm not a cheater!"

Hmmm.

Hrm, I haven't seen any boosters in the TDM games.

I was boosting off of some boosters last night. They were hiding in the gas station area of run down. Saw a green guy on my team that kept disappearing and re-appearing fromt he radar and enemy team kept calling in KS.

So, I walked on over and ruined their party. Killed the booster once, and he kept coming back for more... up untill his boosting partner that was on my team left.

I've only seen boosters once, and they were apparently boosting FMJ kills (according to the nasty message one of them sent me...)

I did really well on a game last night and a guy asked me to join his clan "United Extrem Gamers."

Extrem...methinks the 12 year old needs to spend more time in English class and less on gaming.

Well I had the game of my life the other night (not as good as you guys but amazing for me). Went 26-6 on Derail.

Not sure how I pulled that score out of my a$$ but it was amazing nonetheless. Ironically I did it mostly with regular kill shots vs. kill streaks. I got a predator x 2 (got 1 guy with each), I got a harrier x 2 (got 2 guys with each) so the other 20 kills were from me as I was unable to get to AC130.

Nice part was that both harriers came on kills from me vs the predator. Somehow both times I got caught in big firefights with 2-4 guys and managed to win them each time. Really an unusual game for me but I'll take it.

I'm a pretty poor player in general. There's so many maps I just don't care for. Like this morning I played on Highrise. Good god I hate that map...
