Yeah....Im at like lvl 65 after 20 hrs played. One thing I noticed is that it takes approx the same amount of XP to go from 1-60 that it does from 60-80. So you leveling slows down a whole lot, but it's offset a bit by the fact that in later levels you're getting challenges and match bonuses that are way higher than at start.

Probably going to end up taking about the same amount of time to prestige as in MW2...40-50 hours. Compared to the way too short 20-30 it took in blops.

wow, the game came out at earliest at midnight last night and you already have 20 hours played in less than 24 hours?

Wow, the game is getting a lot more negitive feedback then I thought. My copy arrives tomorrow. I wonder if I should just wait for a few days till the smoke clears before opening it/or returning it?

I'll say this... I think I hate the maps. They don't have the quality that the old Modern Warefare maps had.

Think about the original MW1 maps and how much character/value they had. Lots of variety between the maps, the ability to play many different styles. You could snipe, you could run and gun, you could be tactical. These maps.... well you definitely can't snipe. It's really just a chaotic mess. Don't get me wrong, the game is fun.... but I'm wondering if I might not spend a bit more time on BF3, as the maps seem to be a hell of a lot more fun to me, even if the game style isn't my favorite.

I don't love the maps, but I also don't hate them. I'm actually liking the game quite a bit which is a surprise since I expected to hate it since I hated MW2.

Tonight was much better. The attack helicopter is amazing. And I love how your KS resets if you max out and still haven't died.

I'm still finding that I'm 0-for-everything when I turn a corner and see someone. I lose that battle all of the time.

Check your connection status. When I am even at 3 bars and the majority of the other team is at 4, I've noticed that it makes all the difference in those split second interactions.

Also, Specialist streak + hardline should be illegal. One kill streaks lol.

are you reading REAL feedback from people who actually played or a bunch of douchebags who haven't actually played it?

Well, don't buy it for the campaign. The game is short, graphics look identical to mw2 from 2009 and the story is too hard to follow or care about.

It's like finding a pair of old jeans and wearing them again, they feel good until you look down and see a hole in the crotch and that mustard stain you forgot about.

I dunno it it's worth it for the campaign alone, but the campaign was really good. There's no way you actually played it beyond the first level if thats what you're saying. The graphics are noticeably better than MW2, the story was really easy to follow this time around, and it was just one crazy moment after another. The parts where other games usually cut to a cutscene, you get to play through. There are a few moments where even the most jaded and cynical bastard has to admit were pretty awesome.

I've finished the first level in SP and have to say, the SP in MW3 completely rapes the SP in BF3 for the amount of time I put in. MW3 just makes everything feel more realistic, more action packed, and it really immerses you into the experience where as BF3 felt really bland and boring for some reason.

I am enjoying the MP a lot. I am not sure what they did to the M16 but I ditched it since it felt useless (maybe I wasn't readjusted back to MW3 from BF3 just yet) but the second AR that has burst ability felt like the old FAMAS, amazing gun. Running it with Silencer and Rapid Fire, it's beastly. They really made it a hard decision on whether I use Blind Eye or Scavenger since I'm definitely getting better at the game where I do find myself running out of ammo. I have two identical classes made but one with Blind Eye and one with Scav, in case one team is sick with kill streaks.

Maps could be a little better but so far, the MP experience is really good for me. I've only been playing TDM and TDM-CK.

And the first level is nothing compared to the rest of it. The second level is one of the highlights for sure, but there are still others that are even better. All I will say is that someone really enjoyed the mile high club sequence from cod4, and then made it into the craziest sequence you could possibly imagine.

Whaaaaaat? I guess i'll be playing the SP this weekend. I hadn't planned on playing it until I had some downtime and no one else was online to play MP with. But I loved the mile high club.

BD I don't like you being at the top of my leader board for # of kills I'm coming for you!

Cuda, I agree completely. These maps are not very memorable. Its still early, but they just seem chaotic and feel like they were thrown together without much thought. I've ran into invisible walls a lot more than I expected as well at places that you might think you could hole up.

I'm a bit disappointed with the spawning. I was hoping for an improvement or at least something on par with BLOPS. Anybody else?

I can't seem to run and gun like I'm used to. Anybody have success with that play style? Maybe I just suck now . Anyways, I'm going to adapt and try to enjoy the game.

Anyone get the Hardened copy? If so, what is the Founder card for with its code? I already have a code for elite and have used it. What should I do with the one on the card?

I'm running and gunning like a mad man. You just have to expect to run into someone around every corner/through every door. You never know when the shitty spawns are going to put someone beside you

Lol I guarantee that stage will blow your mind. Guaranteed. There's a spec ops version thats a little more...truer to the original MHC. You'll see what I mean. Too cool to spoil.

I'll try and get on tonight, couldn't make it last night.

I actually had a battlefield-like moment the other day. I was trying to shoot down an AC-130, and just as that moment a strafe run blocked my missile in mid flight and the blast took out like 3 helis. I should upload that to elite when it's finally working.

I was playing with some AVS/ATer's last night when the opposing team had called in the dropship and also a strafe run. I had equipped EMP because of the daily challenge when I finally got it. Hilarious when all of them got bitch slapped out of the air ...

I beat it day one on Hardened in 6 hours and 20 mins. Feel free to check my gamer score. Rage1776

I hated how many times it yanked control away from you to show you another explosion. It was like a Michael Bay film.

Yes, EMP destroys anything electronic - including killstreaks. This is the reason why I prefer not to equip anything that can be shot down, because it feels like a waste. I didn't realize adv. UAV could be shot down, so I'll probably change my setup to SAM, Stealth and EMP.
