Not all Shotguns are that bad... AA-12 and Striker are pretty OP when you know how to play with them, but you are right that you need more than 20 weapon level to make them lil strong.

No. He's referring to the weapon proficiencies you can unlock. Range is rather useful on shotguns.

That kind of reinforces my point, other than the two full/semi-auto shotguns, they rest are pretty useless because they take too damn long to kill.

I thought the Spas in MW2 was perfect, it had a decently wide OHK range, but it wasn't always guaranteed at that distance. However, move in a bit closer and you were guaranteed a OHK.

With the current run of shotguns, even within their "max damage" range, you aren't guaranteed shit. Hell, I still get hitmarkers with the 1887 and it does the most damage up close, then proceed to get f*cked because it takes so long to re-cock.

I used one of my tokens for Dead Silence. I love playing like a ninja and I hated having to wait until mid 50ish to get it.

If you're going to run the striker, I would run Range with the grip attachment. For perks, I usually use scavenger/sleight of hand, assassin, and dead silence.

Supposedly extended mags increases the pellet count as well...so that paired with damage could make for a good combo.

I haven't found any "official" answer as to why this isn't showing up and also can't tell if this is just for some or all players/platforms.

Certain maps are used in certain modes - since FFA is 8 players, odds are they felt that those 3 maps were too big for just 8.

The package I'm running is Range + Extended Mags.
Then Sleight of Hand, Hardline, Steady Aim.
Specialist Strike Package: Assassin --> Blind Eye --> Scavenger.

Is this new to MW3 or was this done in COD games prior to Blops as well? Blops let you play everything.
