Speaking of sights...other than the RDS, they still all do more harm than good.

The holo has the aforementioned probs. At least it's better than irons.

The ACOG gives you some more zoom. Great, right? It also slows down your aim, increases actual recoil, and has a really thick obscuring frame. It's also susceptible to glare. It makes it less likely you'll kill the target you can slightly see better, as if zoom was really something that was a problem.

The hybrid sight is like the worst of all worlds. The close range holo part of it is now further away, making it smaller and worse than irons in many cases. Your aim is super slow, and if you move while ADS it bobs up and down so heavily it's actually nauseating. The long range sight has all the issues of the acog, with the addition of a total loss of peripheral vision.

Same goes for the HAMR scope on the SMGs.

The RDS is the only sight/scope that doesnt come with drawbacks.

Ah, must be it then. I never have equipped scavenger on any class I've created. I always just do my main gun and a handgun or mini machine gun for secondary and take other peoples guns that I've dropped if I'm running low otherwise.

That's what it looks like but with a plus to the right of it.

Maybe it's cause I wasn't using a class at the time since I just did my prestige and the pre-setup class maybe had scavenger set?

Come to think of it, at times it seemed like there were what looked to be maybe backpacks laying on the ground where I killed someone, is that how it works with the scavenger perk?

Yup, that's the scavenger perk. You will see back packs on the ground which will resupply your ammo and your lethal grenade I think, but not tactical items.

Is it just me or does anyone else prefer the holo/rds sites from MW2 over all of the other COD games. I almost needed sights when I played MW2, but I can't use any of them at all in BLOPS or MW3. Iron sights only for me now.

BLOPS RDS definitely sucked ass. Most of the time, they were tiny scopes similar to the MW2 F2000 gun. Also, they weren't clear so it made it hard to see things.

MW2 had some pretty good RDS and MW3 seems pretty much the same.

I like the RDS on MW3, never played MW2 but did play Blops and never used any sights on that.

I think the iron sights are better on any gun in the game. I hate using an attachment just for a sight when I could use it for either silencer/rapidfire/extended mags

The iron sights on the G36C are terrible. It's the only gun in the game that I need a RDS.

Has anyone had any issues hearing other people's voices on bluetooth for PS3/PSN?

I regularly play COD with my brother, ever since MW1. We have always been able to hear each other's voices over bluetooth clearly. Then, with MW3, it's like none of our bluetooths work well with each other. I usually can only hear half his sentences (the beginning and end are cut off), and what I do hear is usually crackly and broken sounding. Same thing on his end.

This only happened since MW3 came out. And it seems to be only with my brother as other friends and random people online all sound normal on my end for the most part.

We each have a few bluetooths and we have tried all of them and experienced the same problems with each.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do to fix this? It gets really annoying asking "What? What? What did you say?" etc.

I don't know about on PS3, but on Xbox the game chat sounds horrible. I am usually in party chat, but when I've been in the game chat I noticed just how horrible it was.

I've experienced issues like this in Blops on PS3 actually. One friend at a point kept either sounding really low or cutting out a lot for some reason but it cleared up after a few days on it's own. Was really weird though.

On MW3 though chat in general sounds horrible and very garbled.

I think it's a nice change/addition to the game. To me they are just another form of a claymore.

They'll be nerfed soon. Confirmed.

They're doing an awful job so far by not listing the changelogs for the patches/hotfixes. There's promises that info will come, but I haven't seen it yet.

Until then, any nerfing is a rumor - except for the FMGs, which was explicitly stated.

It's getting pretty annoying that they keep tweaking weapons. Get used to something and they change it. Get used to something else and they change that. Such a lack of consistency in weapons feel from release day to now already.

I get some stuff. Type 95 was crazy powerful and dropped someone with one burst. Which is why I loved it but that is one I get them tweaking.

But non-full autos should be more powerful and full auto AR's that's their trade off and what keeps everyone from using them.

I don't understand this. How hard is it for them to get someone to post a list of the changes? It would take someone hardly any time at all.

Just seems like we got spoiled with BLOPS with good communication, I guess it's back to crappy support.
