Polished? I'm pretty sure they are on their 6th or 7th patch and it still isn't right.

Patching glitches and sorting out balance issues I can live with. Releasing a game with a completely broken/retarded party system? That's just pathetic (I'm looking at you, Battlefield 3). From the day I went online, I have not had a single problem getting into a game, partying up with my friends, or shooting racist 12-year olds in the face. Yeah, you get the odd weird lag or connection issue, but that's to be expected with ANY game.

When I mean MW3 is polished, I mean that from the ground up it knew what it was going to be. The engine, the mechanics, the design (whether you like it or not) is specifically designed for the current generation console FPS market. Playing Crysis 2 or Battlefield 3 on the Xbox 360 is a brutal affair; you can see and feel the system just killing itself to try and keep up. MW3, by keeping everything simpler, makes everything a smooth, fluid affair, from the frame rate to the controls.

Yep. Say what you want about any part of the game, but its undeniably a polished product thats perfectly suited to these consoles. 60 FPS should be the standard, not the outlier.

Robert Bowling twitted before 12-15 hours that they made a patch or hotfix to fix matchmaking for small country players with the problem " no games found " and not beeing able to play outside their country when there is no one playing in the same region ...


I logged before 1 hour and didnt find any update or something ... did any one got it yet ? will it take a long time to appear ? because i still have the same problem ..

If its a hotfix, you wouldn't notice it unless you were paying attention to the version number in the corner.

I feel the same way. I am willing to give up the so called "wow" factor if the game would play better.

Is there a way to jump over a teammate who is in prone position?

It's so annoying when a teammate decides to go prone right at a doorway (or hallway, etc) and I have to find another way to go.

I loved the previous HC mode where you could kill teammates b/c I would just pop those idiots who block ways. Now with Ricochet, I don't have that luxury.

What they need to do is make no collision between teammates.

tactical insertions are the best...makes gaming much more fun :awe: . It is the only unlocked item for prestige mode.

You are doing it wrong. Let them respawn, drop the new tac, and that is when you kill them. Its funny how long it will take some people to learn that you are camping them. This makes for easy kill streaks.

The tac insert sucks in mw3. In blops you could cancel it, which made it useful and not a deathtrap. Also you could use it in addition to smoke, which made you an objective match hero. Dunno what the point of it is now.

My favorite new toy is the trophy. This thing is money for flag caps, and holding down positions. I love seeing Predator missles disappear as well. Also, anybody else notice the care package is crazy nice this time around. No more ammo crates, so everything you get from it is useful. I had several pavelows last night from it, an assault juggernaut, strafe runs, etc. For those that have a hard time staying alive, I definitely recommend running the care package.

Ah, I didn't realize they couldn't cancel it in MW3, as I don't run it.

Also, anybody else notice the care package is crazy nice this time around. No more ammo crates, so everything you get from it is useful. I did not bother since you can't roll CPs like in BLops. I'll have to give it a shot

People would do this crap all the time on Blops and I've run into it maybe once on MW3.

I had a time on Blops where the spawn point was in a courtyard and the only way to the rest of the map was through a doorway and I had a DB who was friends with the other team but got thrown onto my team purposely blocking the doorway.

ok, I may be grasping at straws here, but I'm at my parents place right now for the holidays and as such I bring my PS3 to play when it gets to the point where there's nothing really to do.

My dad's DSL connection is definitely not as good as my cable connection at my apartment and I'm noticing the lag is considerably better here with this somewhat "crappier" connection.

I still get 4 bars in game, but it seems like I'm getting the jump on people. But the biggest thing i noticed was that people seemed to be shooting around me and not at me, as if they were seeing me 1 second later than where I really am. And that made me wonder if that's what I experience when I'm at my own apartment playing. I need to play some more to get a better idea, but just thought what I noticed was interesting given all the compensation lag talk.

I must admit:

Im playing games more than 12 years on PC ...
i hated the idea of consoles when they arrived ...

I was a big fan of Fps ... and people started to switch to consoles ... so i got more and more hate toward the consoles ... and ended up with less games on PC and smaller community ..

Now after 6 years, i bought my first console , Xbox ..
I started to play mainly with my friends and its ahella alot of fun ..

I bought MW3 before 1 week and started to play, im still noob with controler , but its away MORE and MORE FUN than mouse ... its like a new challenge for me with the controler..

I also hated Cod games without any reason ... i was in love with Battlefield games , played all of them and i did like BF3 alot , but meh i got bored very fast and was lazy to even login to Origin and start the game , i just dont like the pc any more dont know why , could be the lack of MP games and ports , not many players ... etc ...

But MW3 with Controler ? WOW !!! i cant even stop playing whenever i arrive home from work !!
