I went in a second hand store & found MK: Trilogy on PSone for cheap. Good condition too.

So when I wanna go old school. LOL!

yah i cancelled my preorder from amazon after i realized how much of a waste that joystick will be for other games. i almost got it just for the collector portion of it, but was just like meh, i arleady got better joysticks and can save $90. i would probably go back to sanwa after using that stick for an hour anyways heh.

i like the look of it, but the button layout is so MK specific. my hrap will do

No reason you cant take some mdf and cut some holes out to mimic a sf layout and swap the buttons/joystick in.

yah or just get one of the joysticks w/layouts already made to do that

the mk one is badass for what it is, don't get me wrong, but you are only stuck playing mk games w/that layout.

and w/the sf layout, you can easily play mk w/that layout too.

Are there any that come with a bat style stick and concave buttons? Never liked the ball stick and convex buttons on the madcatz sf stick.

the arcade in a box use those buttons (Happ parts, american parts). i think that is the only one that uses true arcade parts. the MK one uses true arcade parts too.

i used to use a happ joystick for the longest time, then i built a sanwa one and after about a week of using it, i could not go back to the happ stick. the buttons take some getting used to because they are super sensitive, but once you get used to them they are much better. the joystick is pretty loose too, so i put some extra springs in it so it's stiffer than the stock sanwa stick. it also comes with a square gate standard which I replaced with an octo gate.

it takes some getting used to but i went back to my happ stick one night and holy shit it is pretty terrible compared to the japanese one. but it is all about what you are used to and prefer, neither is better than the other.

It is basically just a quick moves reference guide at this time with a section to take notes down as well for each character. I have quite a bit of unlocked fatality information in there as well, which I'm sure will start spreading on the net even more today as the game is available to everyone. I also plan on putting a Krypt chart in there stating what is where in the Krypt.

It is already on the Android market and is watiing for review in the iOS market.

if anyone gives a crap I also finished my MK app yesterday for iOS and Android.

It is basically just a quick moves reference guide at this time with a section to take notes down as well for each character. I have quite a bit of unlocked fatality information in there as well, which I'm sure will start spreading on the net even more today as the game is available to everyone. I also plan on putting a Krypt chart in there stating what is where in the Krypt.

pretty sure that I'm going to be changing the moves icon graphics ... they seem to be slightly smaller than I would like, but was trying to go w/the MK theme with the spear head and ninja star, as well as color of the button icons and stuff. also am going to be updating the moves lists as new finishing moves become revealed and discovered.

I was going to pick this up on the way home but now I'm not sure. There isn't much for me locally so I'm highly dependent upon the online aspect. I only skimmed the first page but did not see any specifics on which console? I know I'd pick it up for 360.

It's EXTREMELY easy to do.

Go here (or any QR generating website).
Enter a name for the QR and type your URL into the "Website" box.
Choose a size.
Click "Generate"

Voila

Pull up a barcode scanner on your phone and scan it, should take you straight to it in the market.
