Oh man. I can feel the kompetition. I will start to practice this game. I like the bounce effect for kombo's I have to get used to them. I can kombo much, becuase I come from a street fighter background. I even have hard time blocking, becuase a block button, I havent used for almost a decade. Lol. Last mortal kombat I played was Mortal Kombat Trilogy! Nice to know their is some friendly kompetition. Hit me up on XBL with the same nick here as my gamertag. thanks!

Yea, I accomplish that crap a couple of days ago. Shao Kahn is a big pain in the ass :\. I beat him after fighting him at least 30 times.

I agree that Shao Kahn is ridiculously cheesy. Fight fire with fire, as they say.

I found that I can out-cheese Shao Kahn with characters that have a low energy attack. For example Kabal can use his ground razor attack and it actually knocks shao kahn back and sometimes knocks him down; with the right timing, and shao kahn at max distance, I can basically just keep doing the low attack over and over and win super easy (of course you have to jump over hammer throws, and duck / block spears, but with shao kahn being far away that becomes easy too). Same thing with Liu Kang; Shao Kahn becomes ridiculously easy to cheese.

That's sad, but it's becoming the norm with online games lately. Heck I've even seen people do that in Starcraft 2.

was playing my friend across the country just now and it was noticeably better than it was last time we tried to play. we can play ssf4 usually pretty decently and this was just slightly under the lag issues we had with that game. still hope it gets a little better.

bro you are in hawaii, i'm in maryland ... that is like 6000 miles apart. with as shitty as the online already is in MK, i couldn't imagine how unplayable it would be for us heh.

They have to make incentives for people to stay until the bloody end. More RPG like with points that work towards unlocks, perks, and ranks.

Ok so I am going on three weeks now that I have not been able to join a room on MK9. I have call tech support with WB and Microsoft said that it wasnt their network. So no one can help me get on a online room. My internet is just fine, I have no problems with that at all. So WTF, I think I might just return this game, not because the game play sucks or the graphics are bad, but because I can not play others online. Yes, there are other people who have said that they cant ALWAYS get in a room, but they eventually do, so why am I the random case that cant access it AT ALL!

Shao Khan is a F---ING CHEATER!
Instant X-Ray (well, after 3 hits), shakes off half your attacks, shoulder charge, weak ass hammer throw that stuns you, takes 1/4th normal damage, does triple damage, etc etc etc etc etc etc...

Seers are you using a router? Behind a firewall? Opened your ports?

try maybe clearing cache or deleting the gamesave for it maybe? maybe some whack setting is stored on your 360. i havent had issues getting in rooms in a while. but when i did have issues going in a room, i could at least search for player matches and find them that way.

and i'm assuming you have it for 360, cause if you have it for ps3 and are wondering why you can't get in a room... then i dunno wtf to tell you heh.

True, been going on since dial up days. Most people really believe their stats and online gaming accomplishments for some reason. I've been in the top 20-100 in most every major shooter since CoD4 and it's gotten me nowhere, yet people still think those numbers and their actions online means something. It's kind of sad actually.

Well, of course he's a cheater. He's a boss in an MK game. He's no SNK boss, but there is a very long tradition of MK Bosses cheating like crazy, and they're not going to stop now.

At least I haven't run into any thrice damned MK Walkers though. Bad enough when the bosses cheat, to have everyone cheat really sucks.
