I'm cool with this being the official thread. I removed the "?" from the title. I agree that I'm not sure everything can fit in one thread, but for now let's go with this one being the official one and we'll see how it goes.

So whats everyone want to see at MWC?

Me: I'm in the market for a tablet, but all current models disappoint. I really like the XyBoards, despite the locked boot loaders. But, they basically use the same SoC as my Nexus phone. If Moto were to take the current 8.2/10.1 designs and drop in an OMAP4470/SGX544, I'd buy in a heart beat. Samsung too, their 10.1/8.9 designs are in dire need of a SoC refresh. Heck, even putting the same Exynos they use in the SGS2 would be a nice step up from Tegra 2.

That's disappointing. The main thing I wanted was the S-pen but I at least would have expected a better soc and screen to be included in their new tablets.

It looks like I'm back to waiting for a fire sale on the Thinkpad tablet.

What's wrong with the aspect ratio, and there still may be a Note announcement outside of the Tab 2.

The Verge has a pic of a banner for the Galaxy Note 10.1 so the Tab 2 is definitely not it. Hopefully Samsung is saving all of the good stuff for the Note then.

I don't see whats wrong with 16:9, it's a much more natural aspect ratio for a 10" device imo.

1280x800 is 16:10.

If someone doesn't come out with an ICS Tablet with at least 1080p resolution, Apple is going to destroy come March 7th. There were rumors of Samsung doing something like this, but the Tab 2 is a snorefest. There are also new phones at MWC that still are OS 2.3. What the hell is wrong with these guys?

At least there's an sd slot this time around, but still a let down. Even if its using Exynos. Looks more like they'd rather sell us a 'new' tablet instead of supporting the 'old' tablet.

That is not Galaxy Note 10.1, just a slight refresh of Tab 10.1

I'm keeping an eye on ASUS, they had a video out hinting "twice the resolution, twice the fun", maybe we'll see a 2560x1600 resolution tab.

Samsung is quite disappointing this year. I hope they have some trick up their sleeves. I'm looking forward to HTC's slew of phones this year. They've always launched a nice lineup during their MWC debuts. I'm sure people remember last year's Desire S/Incredible S/Sensation, but maybe not the Wildfire/Legend/Desire the first year of Android, and even the Touch Diamond 2/Touch HD the previous year.

Hmm, looks like they are replacing the Tegra 3 with Qualcomm S4 in the HTC One X for AT&T LTE, coming this April.

Hmm, looks like they are replacing the Tegra 3 with Qualcomm S4 in the HTC One X for AT&T LTE, coming this April.

AT&T tells us its variant will come with a dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4, a change of SoC compelled by the addition of LTE.

So whats with Nvidia's inability to get LTE working on their Tegra line?
