i also can't believe my prediction of Heat in 6 might actually come true.....

I'd love to see that prediction...

on the last foul on Wade...he probably would have made it if he wasn't fouled

go back and you'll find it. that's why it's so annoying when you play the "you're such a heat-hater" card. unlike some, i feel like i can be objective when i try.....

there was 1.9 seconds left and he's splitting the gap between 3 defenders and throwing up a scoop-circus layup......the refs bailed him out on that wild shot. you just don't like to see the refs deciding the game like that. it's not like Wade got mugged.

nah man...you're still a hater....you call Shaq Snaq...you rarely give Miami any credit. It's cool though...it's all good. I'll admit I hate the freakin Pistons. About Wade...that's just the way it is.....the superstar players get calls....face it...realize it. Wade is a superstar he's going to get calls.

Let's give Miami some credit...they beat the so-called sure thing Mavs 3 straight times...who would have though that? I didn't. I hoped and prayed though...

WTF? How can anyone not like Wade? He is probably the nicest, most humble guy in the NBA

that call at the end isn't what won the game for the Heat...it was Howard choking then calling a stupid TO at the end...it was Dirk choking again hitting less than 50% again...and waiting till the end to miss free throws..thanks Dirk! The Heat definitely have the coaching edge for sure. Avery is losing composure...its obvious.

I blame Avery Johnson more than Howard. Don't give the freakin hand signal..just tell the ref.

I don't get how you guys can make fun of dirk for being a choker for shooting bad when he shot the ball better than Wade. And that foul call on Wade to decide the game was just pathetic. It's obvious that Stern just wants to extend the series.

I'll give my oppinion. Both teams are great, Both superstar players made their clutch shots. Dirk with 10 secs, and wade on the previous one. I think the Heat really havent overcome anything that the Mavs can offer yet. It seems that they arent scoring as many transition points that they were in games one & two(the mavs). Wade is an amazing player and friggin unstopable at home. What I think has really decieved people though, is the home court advantage miami has had in this series with 3 strait home games. It was almost a given that miami would win 2/3 in miami. They won all 3 which not many people saw coming, but I still see this series going to a 7 game series, and its really easy to determine the winner of the games. If Wade has 35+ its a definite win for miami, if he doesnt its a loss for miami.

you're right. i picked the Heat to win an NBA championship, but i don't give them credit

that "superstars get calls" stuff is irrelevant. i'm talking about blowing the whistle in the last second of the game to decide the game. you just don't do that. let Wade hit a clutch shot to win it, unless he gets mugged. you've been an NBA fan long enough to know that.

the game was decided with that whistle....NOT howard's timeout call. the refs don't blow the whistle and the Heat lose. they make the call and the Heat win. that's what people talk about when they say the refs deciding the game.

anyways, enough of that from me.......entertaining game to watch.

the Mavs are VERY good at home, so i don't see this series as over by any stretch.

umm.....Wade started off slow granted but finished off strong...look at the last few games for Dirk...he's sucked period. Dirk waite to choke shooting FTs at the end too? Are you watching?

And if you think the fould at the end decided the game you're wrong...it shouldn't have gone to that....I won't even comment more on that.....

dude you could preach as much as you want about being objective...you're really not. You rarely, if ever, give the Heat credit. It's always because of another factor why they win. Tonight it was the one call. There were other fouls throughout the game that people forget that were and weren't called. I'll lose most of the respect I have for you if you really think that one play decided a game of 53 minutes.

Yeah, seriously. He has a good point about the timeout fiasco. Follow up question should've been: Did Howard ask the referee for a timeout?

I saw Avery make a gesture with his hands for a timeout...which would have been alright if he had 2, I think Avery screwed up.

That was an exciting game, except it was a disappointing way to end the game with two foul shots and that timeout fiasco.

the reporter had to move on because avery kept asking him to answer his own question rofl. i wonder why he didn't want to piss him more off by saying "wade was fouled" he probably would get fired though

omg, you can't admit that that foul call basically decided the game?

all the 50-some minutes lead up to that one play. up until then you can argue that the game was a stalemate (although the mavs were up 1 pt). yes, i understand that Howard blew his FT's that would have put the game out of reach. the fact remains that the very last play of the game was the one that determined the outcome of the game.

do you want me to say the Heat played a better game than the Mavs? because i can't.....it was a 1 pt game. one less whistle at the end and the Mavs win. i'd be lying if i said the Heat outplayed the Mavs tonight. i honestly can't say one team was better than the other tonight. i think that's objective, no?

with that, i'm really done, lol. onto game 6.

Coaches can't call time outs.

They will be able to do so next season.

Currently they can only call timeouts when a player is bleeding.

the fact remains the Howard DID miss thows free throws...if he makes them...there is a damn good chance that the Mavs win...can you see that? That play would have never happened! omg....man....you cannot say that one play decided an entire game! you can't.

he signaled, josh howard, already confused, got confused more by resignaling the bench the same TO sign and thats how the TO was registered. once acknowledged by the refs, you can't undo it

Wade shot 25 FTs, he was drawing fouls all night long. Like Scottie said, he started the trend early and it helped him in the end.
