I don't know about all these superstars that say that the only thing they care about is winning a ring.

I mean, if James really wanted to win, he could sign a min deal contract for 1 or 2 years with a team so that the team would have good cap space to sign another awesome player like Wade or whoever else.

It's not like his NBA salary actually matters other than ego considering that 90% of his earnings will be from endorsements. At least that's what I would do in his shoes. Maybe after the 1st or 2nd ring, then a max deal is in the works.

Lebron will make pretty much any team better but at the cost of hogging all the cap space. I agree that a team that signs Wade and Bosh would be better off but that's not going to happen.

Unless of course a team like New York can sign James and another superstar(room for 2 max salaries).

Great closeout by Boston. Welcome back Paul Pierce. You stepped up and hit some big three pointers. Like I said a few games back, Boston simply wanted it more. They were on every loose ball, had the more consistent defensive effort, and were simply playing better basketball.

Its time for Phil Jackso to leave LA and coach Lebron in Cleveland, which Wade would go to in a heartbeat imo. If LA doesn't win it all this year, Jackson may actually move on.

Not that I want it...Lebron would pair up great with Rose in chicago, but without a coach, that may be unlikely.

i dont think Joakim Noah can play with Lebron. Remember how Lebron was dancing on the sidelines during a regular season game and Noah got hit with a tech after saying something to James? Noah was probably the one dancing yesterday.

It was all about Jerry Krause at the time, but since Reinsdorf stood strong with krause, no doubt there was residual. I'm sure both have a lot of respect for each other, and reinsdorf has been generally considered a great sports franchise owner. Jackson went back to the lakers after leaving them, so anything is possible.

I don't agree. Those are competition things but they have respect for each other, which matters more. James hasn't said anything bad about Noah, and its that fire in noah that makes him a great teammate. There is so much pressure on the top players to win, from others and themselves, that petty things done in the heat of a battle as opponents won't hold water. Both otherwise are generally very likeable people, and I think they'd honestly have a blast playing together.

What you people are missing is the fact that the Cavs are from Cleveland. They WILL fark it up and will not make the finals much less win the finals.
I am 28, I've seen this movie many times before.

Kind of a shame given his reguar season record...but it was inevitable. He simply doesn't have what it takes to get a team deep into the playoffs. This team was very deep and talented. He just couldn't properly respond to matchup problems or get his players motivated.

Word is that Woodson got punted out of Atlanta too. Same thing. Talented players but just couldn't real them in and was completly humiliated by Orlando.

Wow. I haven't paid attention much to the team salary caps in a while. New York is only on the books for 17 million going into 2010/11. That's pretty crazy. And 11 of that is for the Eddie Curry experiment they can forget next year.

the players just ignored Brown at the end of hte game. They quit on him. You can't coach players when they zone you out. It is a lost cause.

I think Lebron to Chicago makes sense. I think him and Noah secretly like eachother - They would be an instant contender for the title. Maybe Rose and Noah = Pippen and Rodman?

Plus they have a coaching vacancy so they can get whoever Lebron wants.

Though that would create less parity in a league that's already very low on it. How many sweeps in the playoffs so far? 4? Hawks/Magic was a godawful series.
