While true, you have to admit that beating the team that has consistently been beating you down for the past however many years is something to celebrate. Could already be their championship, though I sure hope not.

I don't think the Suns have the length to deal with the Lakers. Every single one of their big men are oversized SFs, two of which have some bulk and can play in the post. The real weak spot for the Lakers is at PG, but the way Nash is playing, no one can stop him.

Here my guess for the defensive matchups:

Bynum? -- Lopez?
Gasol -- Stoudemire
Fisher - Hill
Artest - Richardson
Kobe - Nash

I have a hard time figuring out who Artest is going to guard. I am guessing the Lakers are going to want to shut down Richardson because he is the barometer of the Suns. Kobe will probably guard whoever is hot (between Nash and Richardson).

The suns definitely have the better bench. I'm excited to see what kind of damage they can do.

Its going to be an interesting series, and I hate to say it but I think the Lakers will win in 6.

Don't you think they will try to put Hill on Kobe? Nash has no D as we all know, so why wouldn't they put the hot defensive hand on Kobe? Hill has been great on D so far. Fisher is washed up.

I was thinking of it more from a 'who is going to guard the Suns players' stance. You are right, Nash will play Fisher on D (who is definitely the weak link on the Lakers) and Hill will guard Kobe. His defense has been nothing short of amazing during the playoffs, especially for a 37 year old man.

Definitely has been amazing. Go Suns medical/training staff! :awe:

Yeah I see hill on kobe. What he did to miller and manu is amazing

Also gotta remember bynum is injured so if rolo comes back, that should help a little

Grant Hill did nothing to Manu, it was Dirk's elbow that slowed Manu down.

I do believe even if he didn't get the elbow to the nose, his performance would of been the same. Besides flopping, he is resilient and knows how to get his points

Should also say that in the past series, he was able to get into the paint anytime he wanted. In this series, not so much luck as he was lured to shooting jump shots.

Man, Jazz fans wearing "Fisher Lies" tshirts? Wow. Completely classless pieces of shits. I hope the Lakers destroy the Jazz tonight.

Lakers are pwning - very entertaining. The Suns better average like 120 pts/game if they want to beat the Lakers.

Man Kobe the only one doing work in this quarter, I hope they don't let this slip away.

“Any player in his position would be upset for not coming back in,’’ Brown said of O’Neal, who along with James did not speak yesterday. “You respect a guy being upset in that situation, you’re OK with it. But he did not communicate with me that he wanted to go back in.’’

Is this guy an idiot?

This is why it'll feel great if the lakers are able to beat the suns.

I can't stand the officiating when Shaq has the ball. He can push, shove, and full out bull his way to basket without a foul. But if a defender so much as puts a hand on him it's a foul.

Lame.

Is this game as ugly as the box score looks?

Stuck at work.
