I'm not that much of a basketball fan, only watch maybe 4 or 5 games a year of my UW Huskies along with the NCAA tourney so I am kind of a noob you could say. That said, did UConn really play that great of defense against Butler? It did not look so to me, I have never seen so many in and out shots in one game in my life. I was pulling for Butler cause I roll for the underdog when I don't have an emotional interest for either team, and was pulling my hair out watching the game.
...No body mentions how bad UCONN played. They are the national champs and can only beat a team who made 2 field goals all night by 12 points?

UCONN missed over 65% of their shots too. It was just crappy basketball all around. Pretty much a case of bad and worse. It has amazed how much people have talked about how bad the loser played this week. No body mentions how bad UCONN played. They had 10 blocks (ties NCAA record), +11 rebounds against a team that had outrebounded just about every team they played, and shot 87.5% Free Throws (14-16). They didn't have to shoot FG's well, the game was won in the paint with defense and rebounding. They rattled Butler so bad they missed open layups b/c they were scared of getting blocked again. Florida State, with the best defense in the tourney, posted 10 blocks (vs A&M) but I don't remember any other team posting such numbers.
