Yeah, when you lose your seniors to the NBA you're going to suck. Same thing with WVU losing Dasean Butler and Devin Ebanks, they are shells of last year's teams.

Yeah, when you lose your seniors to the NBA you're going to suck. Same thing with WVU losing Dasean Butler and Devin Ebanks, they are shells of last year's teams.

Butler only lost one player (of consequence) last year -- Hayward. They returned the rest of their starters and most of their bench. I thought they'd slip a little this year, but they've been plainly awful at times.

Hayward was arguably the best player in the NCAA last year so yeah, he basically carried them. Just like when Texas lost Kevin Durant and couldn't replicate their Elite 8 run.
