yes, it's a weird climate we live in, the things we forgive and the crimes we ignore, the blame we shift. We elected a sexual-assaulting, shameless corporate thief to handle our economic policy and military, but this is only after we seem to just let child rape go on as if it wasn't such a big deal.
I get that the NCAA doesn't really have that authority to punish legit criminal acts, but to say that "99%" of the sanctions given to them were unjustified is naive and petty. To assume that people will just stop caring about such crimes--as long as the "right" people and organizations committed them--and that is a good thing, is a sad vision of a society with jacked priorities.
Molesting children is only excused by religious nuts when it's done by the leaders of their religion. And at PedoState, football is a religion.
