CBS has the contract for the tournament. I think they have it through like 2008 too.

So far Texas is the state to hate...Longhorns and Texas Tech are the only teams I missed in my bracket.

Anyone else think that CBS's coverage of the tourney sucks?!?!? At least it does here in Pittsburgh where they keep switching between games, never letting you see more than 15 mins of one game at a time. Also, they must seriously be spending as much time on commercials as they do on "coverage".

Allowing just one network to air all these games is just plain dumb.

CBS has always blown in anything related to sports coverage...

I don't mind the CBS coverage after this first weekend of the tournament because there are only 1 or 2 games in any given time slot instead of 4 so they don't switch between games as much. I can't stand the constant switching between games. I mean, if there is a game that is going down to the wire and it's a 1 point game with 10 seconds left, I can understand the switch to see the end of the game, but they switch to games that I don't care about that still have 8:00 left in the 2nd half.

IMO, CBS should get some money from NBC and ABC for the right to air the CBS feed for 1 game from each time slot on this first weekend of the tournament. So then you could watch ANY of the 12:00, 2:30, 7:00, and 10:00 games with 1 game each on NBC, CBS, ABC, and ESPN. Not only would CBS make more money this way, people would actually be happy with the coverage.

so far the formula my friend and i came up with to predict games is holding up fairly well.
only missed TTU-Charlotte and UF-Manhattan

called the Nevada upset over MSU
called the Seton Hall win.
called DePaul over Dayton

Same. I had Charlotte and Arizona. Lucked out a bunch of times, though (DePaul, Alabama, Maryland, etc.). I'm in 3rd place in my pool right now. The person in the lead has Texas winning it all, though, which is a risky pick.
