*OFFICIAL* Neverwinter Nights hot deal thread: NWN for 44.90 or 44.99 + $10 gift card

Ok well i'm quite sick of paying premium dollar on computer games (NWN is 60 bucks at best buy!!), so lets all pool our resources to find the best deal on this game.

So far, i've found it for $44.90 http://www.gogamer.com/cgi-bin/GoGamer.storefront/EN/product/001NEV?AID=307521&PID=603315 on a web shopping search engine.

If any of you see a better deal, post it up! I will check back every now and then and edit this post if you come up with a better deal.

Oh and I hear that places like Best Buy and Circuit City will be dropping their prices on this game in a week to roughly $30. Can anyone confirm this? DISCUSS.

Success. Went to EB with my CC flyer, got them to price match to $44.99, then I get to send off for the $10 gift certificate to EB. Net $35.

YMMV, I don't think one of the guys was going to let me do it, but the other one said it should work, as long as you didn't have to do anything else to get the CC instant rebate.

I always wait until a week or two after the game ships. BB, CC, Media Play etc. then usually run it at $30-35. Then I stop by Wal-Mart on the way home from work with the ad and get them to pricematch since those stores are out of the way. Couldn't be easier and the hot games are always in this price range soon after they come out. Got Morrowind for $35 and Dungeon Siege for $30 this way. I refuse to pay $45 and up, if I can't get it this way I just trade for it on www.gametz.com...

It's worth the $45 I spent at Best Buy on it.. Actually, $38 something after taxes and the $10 pre-order off. I had a gift card I never used for $15. And anyways, if they do drop the price within 30 days, I can always go back and get the difference.

No actually, I've been waiting so long for this game to come out, I couldn't possibly wait any longer for the price to come down. It's well worth the money, I must say. Outstanding graphics, brilliant interface. If you liked any of the old Interplay BG series games or Planescape Torment, you'll flip over this game...

I think prices on highly-anticipated games (e.g. NWN, WC3, etc.) are getting up there. Publishers figure it's a sure sell, so why not start off high...

By the way, I think the ebay auction for NWN was an autographed copy /1st press kinda deal. That's why it was so high... At least, that's what I heard...

It's not really a deal, but Northern CA Fry's have this game for about $55. If you're dying to play it right now, then I guess it's a decent price. This seems like a really cool game, can't wait to play it!

Also, for people in the Twin Cities, MN. Roseville CompUSA is expecting a boatload of copies tomorrow or Saturday. I've been told 100+ copies of NWN, so check the website. Also take advantage of the CompUSA gift-card deal until Sat.

Just bought this game tonite at BB with my son. The sales guy talked to us for about 1/2 hour on how great a game it was and how he couldn't wait to get off from work to play it. He actually drove from MD to DE on Tuesday when it came out because it wasn't avail at BB. That BB now has several shelves full of the game. We ended up paying $53.99 because we used a "Preferred Customer Coupon" for 10% off that had been sent thru the mail.
