I'm a Pats fan and what exactly are you trying to infer?
I think the Pats record is a pretty damn good one and stands on it own.
Everyone knows Manning is the biggest crybaby bitch in football, but go ahead and stick up for him ..... just leave the Pats fans out of it.

In my experience, Pats fans are usually the ones making those claims. What does he cry about? Getting mad at receivers for running wrong routes? That isn't crying. Seriously, I want to know. The only time I've seen him act like an ass was when he threw his offensive line under the bus in a press conference. He let himself get backed into a corner and didn't respond right.

I've been hoping for a Colts (my team) vs Saints (respect, awesome QB and solid offense) Superbowl since the beginning of the season. Hoping for one awesome game on Sunday.

It was reported today on MSNBC that Gregg Williams (Saints defensive coordinator) told a Nashville radio station that their goal, in the end, is to injure Manning and knock him out of the game. He said it would be worth taking penalties to try. Real classy!

So, Saints fans, your genius defensive coordinator just advertised to the world they intend to potentially use cheap shots on Manning to knock him out. I'm sure the NFL officiating office heard the report and won't take kindly to someone trying to hurt the player who is arguably the face of the NFL. If you see any ticky-tack roughing calls against the Saints, you now know who to blame.

Saints is a POS team, and I've said this in the Vikes vs. Saints thread. Classless bastards! You all know why, so I don't need to repeat.

And I'm still bitter that the Mod hijack my thread without even a courtesy of a reach around, regardless of the name of the poster.

1. Manning is just as much as a baby as Brady. They both play the part. Only difference is in the post game. Brady plays it off as "yeah, I am not afraid to get hit" and acts all tough while Manning does not really talk about it.

2. Taking out the QB? ROFL! Every defense tries to do it. Advertised or not. When you sack you QB, you try to take them down hard. That is just how it is. Don't act like they bring a knife will shank a QB.

I'm pulling for the Colts. Manning has been my favorite QB in this league for quite a while now, so I tend to pull for him since the Bills suck it up year after year.

Exactly. If the QB has the ball in his hands, feel free to hit him as hard as you want, as long as it is a legal hit (not going for the knees). If the ball is gone and the play is over from the QB's perspective, leave him alone.

Well, my favorite team is the Saints, and my fairly close second is the Colts, so this is an awesome super bowl which I won't be able to watch.

Thats not sportsmanship. Thats just further proof this is no longer a game, and those arent athletes. They are businessmen with muscles.

Why single out athletes? They are merely entertainers, and quite frankly, most of the big Hollywood stars or musicians (whose jobs are by no means any more difficult) make more in salary than their NFL counterparts.

Well seeing as I (kinda sorta) predicted these two teams in the superbowl before the season started. I will have to also pick the Colts even though I want them to lose. Also I think we're in for a dull superbowl this year just based on the last two being so spectacular...they can't all be legendary bowls...right?

Saints are not SOL by any means though, it's a 40/60 game I think, 60% chance the colts win.
