You can't just say the Colts are a better team. How do you measure "better". You need some way to quantify it. And the only measurement that really matters is the winner of the game.

Yes, he most certainly played better than Peyton. I don't think Peyton played an awful game; his one mistake was fatal, however. But so were the dozens of defensive mistakes they made tonight.

I will say the game was boring. Given the hype. and the two offenses, pretty much good weather, and well last years superbowl. Would've been great to see another ending drive like last year.

Was expecting to see a high scoring or at big aerial game.

Neither guys really aired it out. Brees went underneath most of the time.

The Colts could only muster 17 points against the 26th ranked Pass Defense.

Were the Saints the better team when they narrowly escaped defeat against the Vikings two weeks ago? What about when they lost to TB, of all teams?

Brees is a great QB and the Saints are a good team but they are not a better team than the Colts. The Colts just had a bad night.
