I have cutler in my salary league, should make it cheap to buy other players next week. but yeah, those starting rogers are getting almost as bad results this week.

Hows that #1 pick on A-Rod looking now FF managers? Haha

Yep, I was a sucked and took Rodgers as my 1st pick in one league and Brees as my first in another. Brees put up decent numbers week 1, lets see what happens week 2.

lol, just noticed in one of my leagues I'm playing someone with rodgers and jennings, and they've combined for 11 points so far.

Yeah considering Jennings should have 0 since he's not even playing tonight I'd say you're doing pretty well.

Well its his dumb move for starting Jennings, they have been saying all week that he was not expected to play

I'm so surprised that the bear's offense failed to live up to the week one hype after playing one of the worst teams in the league. Not.

I think you're exaggerating dude, I counted 265 sacks.

Oh you are right my bad.. I thought they got a couple in on Cutler at halftime as he walked to the locker room while he was yelling at his O-linemen

I am so glad the bears spent so much money and drafts pics on beefing up the O-line. it really showed tonight.

No it didnt. Cutler got sacked 7 times and threw 4 interceptions.

Seriously though... You think Cutler starts a few clubhouse fights tonight or what?

Two words from this co-owner: tempered enthusiasm.
I'm glad the Pack stepped up last night. Not offensively but definitely defensively. The call was out there all week after the 49ers loss; weak offense, even weaker defense. We didn't dominate the offensive side of the ball that we're used to after last year, but a win is a win.

Now if the Pack can find a rhythm offensively and have that kind of dominating defense in the next couple of games, we might finish 10-6.

Anyone know if Raji came back in the game? I had to listen to it on XM last night and can't remember if Larry said that he came back to the game.

I think the Packers will be fine, I think that you will go at worst 4-2 in the division, probably just go 6-0 since I don't think the Lions will be that great this year.

One thing that you didn't mention is that the Packers managed to get Benson going and towards the end had some semblance of a running game going. If they keep improving on this it would be huge later on in the season.

Agree here. Though I think they'll go 5-1 at worst in that division.

I agree. A balanced attack means you have an additional weapon at the ready. But remember, the first touchdown of the game was scored on a sneak. It wasn't Aaron Rodgers throwing a TD strike. And the game could have gone completely a different way had the Bears O-lineman not gotten flagged for his conduct. The Bears were driving down the field, the O line guy gets hit with a penalty, and the drive stalls.

Last night was about momentum; Clay's perpetual motion forward into Jay's chest, for example.

honestly, I thought Benson looked supremely mediocre, running the ball, but the Bears' run defense was surprisingly poor and gave him some lanes to run.

Can't wait to watch my Bears smack the Packers tomorrow night!

How did that work out for ya?

I love how after all the talk in week 1 and the WR corp, Cutler still has no receivers and his o-line blows on my balls, but seriously ... the dude is such a douche bag I wonder if his o-line lets him gets sacked on purpose. Maybe his WR's are dropping balls on purpose too. I guess people don't understand that his best weapon BMarsh is also probably his worst enemy.

That one where Earl Bennett just stood there instead of taking two steps toward the throw was hilarious. Dude COME BACK TO THE BALL!! You're a professional WR??? Seriously??

One of the craziest decisions of our McDouchebag era, but I'm so glad about the way things have worked out. Cutler will never have success in this league, regardless of his skill set. There is no doubt he has one of the strongest arms in the league, but that's his only redeeming quality. Even Tebow has many more qualities as a QB .... and yes I would rather have him starting than Cutler any day.

I'm not saying he's going to carry the team running the ball, or anything even remotely like that. I made my comment based on the fact that:
1. Benson was pretty fresh with the Packers offense in general
2. He looked really bad in the first game (I'm sure facing the 49ers defense didn't help)

So the fact that he started to get some kind of rhythm towards the end is nothing but good news, even if it was all a product of poor defense by the Bears.
