It is no nice to have a pass rush once again here in Seattle. The past five years or so, the Seahawks have had one of the weakest pass rushes in the NFL, but that is clearly no longer the case. In the first half, Cam Newton was hurried on 9 out 15 attempts, sacked 2 or 3 times, and caught from behind multiple times. First round pick Bruce Irvin had a great game, sacking Newton and forcing the fumble with less than a minute left in the game.
With Lynch leading the league in rushing, combined with the defense, things are looking very promising here in Seattle. Wilson just needs to not lose the game, and the Seahawks can probably stay in the game with most teams in the league.
Russell Wilson did complete 19 of 25 passes and had a nice TD pass, but did have 2 INT's as well, one of which was returned for a TD.
Seahawks defense held Carolina to 108 yards passing and 82 yards rushing, lol!
