way to cheat your way to the superbowl arizona.

Somebody always has to whine about cheating, eh?

lots of non calls by the officials ... just saying
Yea - you mean like the horrible call in the first half that took away the Cardinals "onside" kick recovery? It goes both ways.

yeah yeah yeah i know, im just a bitter eagles fan our defense choked and the while that they got away with that kick recovery, the refs really screwed them over this game. at least 2 missed pass interference calls that coulda changed the game completely.

blame yourself. the egels have had a crappy offense for several years now and only won as much as they did because of donovan f mcnabbs legs. now that he getting older and slower of foot, that avenue is closing. if reid and the other management morons are going to keep running a 75+% passing O, feel free to draft or sign players that aren't a snoozefest, which would also mean don't be such fucking cheapskates.

Well, in their defense, the Eagles made a big play at multiple WRs this year. They offered Randy Moss more money than the Patriots did. They tried to trade for Chad Johnson and Roy Williams. They tried...they just failed.

That was a pretty horrible missed pass interference call towards the end. It was so blatant I don't see how the officials could have missed it. (Just a fan with no stake in either team btw)

The Eagles should go after TJ Houzyurmomma and put D.Jackson in the slot. Hank Baskett was god awful today with the drops (bit ironic).

Yes, Jackon might be the best #2 receiver they've had in awhile, but I don't see him being a dominant #1 guy. If they could get a true #1, with Kevin Curtis and DJax on the field, they'd have a damn solid offense. Just look at McNabb during the TO era.

Oh man whatta game!!! Go CARDS!!! Superbowl bound...I can barely believe what i witnessed in person today...its like a dream....

Some notes from the stands today while still fresh -
Cardinals fans outnumbered Eagles fans like 20 -1...don't get me wrong the eagles brought a lot of fans but the sheer volume of red in the entire stadium was crazy. The noise from the crowd was deafening. If even made its way into the bathroom where even though lines were 5 deep for each of the urinals the chanting "lets go cardinals" and "superbowl" were constant. I am actually partially deaf in one ear because the group next to me was crazy. Luckily to the right of me were mostly Eagles fans and my voice is horse, and my hands are sore, as with everyone else there. Even the owner after the game sounded pretty horse when accepting the trophy. But at the same time the crowds silence was crazy in the first half. During the offense series cardinals fans were dead quiet it seemed like. In the second half and sometimes they cheered but for the most part it was like a crazy quiet to just watch it all unfold.

The warner/arrington/warner/fitz play didn't surprise anyone in my section at least. Normal touchdown cheers. It was the BS missed call by the refs where they said the ball went out of bounds that caused some serious bedlam in the stands for a while.

After the touchdown that put them up for the final time in the 4th quarter, and then the ensuing defensive stand they panned around the crowd and there was focused in on a old man in face paint just bawling his eyes out. The cheering sorta subsided and you noticed a few players look up and it seemed to have a pretty profound effect. After the game the number of men openly weeping and hugging increased pretty dramatically. AZ fans had waited a long time for this opportunity and to realize what had happened was pretty overwhelming.

Arizona is crazy proud of their team. I drove from Vegas to Phoenix for this game and on my way back tonight all along the highway anyone that saw me in my jersey either honked or waived or gave a "woooo". I stopped in the jack in the box in Kingman and the crew there had me give them a quick re-telling of what happened at the stadium when i mentioned i was at the game. AZ talk radio was in disbelief. They didn't know what to say after the game. Most of them had ragged on the cards and the fans were calling up pissed at them for doubting the team.

What an amazing game to be witness too as well. The Eagles played hard but I really think the crowd put the Cards over the edge on this one. I look forward to see what happens in Tampa against the Steelers...but right now just savoring this moment of glory because its so unbelievable in how it unfolded.

The best pic of all - yeah my seats were way up in the nosebleed section, yes i couldn't see much except what was shown on the jumbo tron, but seeing that confetti go off and to be there was all worth it

Nice report, was wondering if you guys would post pics (I saw another Cards fan went as well) glad you had fun at the game

That left batch of confetti looks kind alike a big hand :Q

The better team won, that was clear to me. Cardinals earned their spot in the Superbowl, didn't get there on luck, that's for sure.
