Meh, this whole season is really just the Packers, the Saints, and the Niners. Everyone else is an also-ran at best, and that includes the entire AFC.

The best chance of any AFC team in this years SB will be the Ravens IMO, Pitt is good but the Raven's D seems more consistent and my team (Pats) don't have a D for the playoff's, when you pass D makes Rex, or Painter or whoever look like Joe Montana your screwed. Fun watching Gronkowski this year though, he just dominates anyone who is stuck with trying to cover (or tackle) him..

lol, the cowboys. Always good for a laugh in December. Jerry Jones has gotta go (a little hard to fire the owner), Jason Garrett's gotta go, would be best for both parties if Romo got a change of scenery, though he played really well tonight. Rob Ryan has proved to overrated. He's the only person the cameras ever show on the sideline, so maybe he'll get all the blame

in other news, OMFG Gronkowski is the best. I knew he was gonna be great but he looks like a grown man playing among toddlers. I drafted him like 5th in my FF draft or something, ha. People probably thought that was nuts at the time.

I'm not really a Cowboy hater, I just like giving them guff for some reason. And besides, my team is the Seahawks so... yea.

Your probably right as to your comment. NE's D will be their downfall in the playoffs. Don't see NO D being able to hold off GB. I hate to say it, but I have a feeling the Steelers will face GB in the SB. Oh, and congrats to the Texans and their fans, way to keep it together after losing Schaub.

Yeah, the D is really bad. Belicheck just puts McCourty in there and everyone just challenges McCourty and beats him. It's like Belicheck keeps taunting everybody, then they take the bait except taking the bait leads to a first down or a touchdown. It's apparent why Belicheck does this "bend but don't break defense". If the secondary even tried to make aggressive plays, it would be a quick TD. And is it me, or has Brady just been forcing the ball and missing open guys? Man, get your head of your ass....stop trying to make awesome plays and just make plays that work.

Definitely has been. Gronk was open when Brady threw that pick in the end zone while trying for Underwood, and that's just one example. He's picking the guy he wants at the beginning of the play, and forcing it.

Haley deserved it, but its not really his fault that the Chiefs have been so bad (in fact, I think he deserves a lot of credit for what he did with what he had). It starts with Clark being a cheapass (he's been spending tens of millions below the cap basically since he took over which is why the team went to shit) and Pioli not doing enough to provide him with good players. I also think Cassel and the OC situation is partly on Pioli. Instead of asking Todd who he would like to bring in he tried to force guys on him, and when Haley was trying to instill.

Rumors keep saying McDaniels, which is bullshit. Too bad KU got to Weis first.

Its going to take them getting a good QB for me to have any interest in keeping watching them. If they try to trot out McDaniels and Cassel, I'm done.

I'm pretty disappointed with this. I don't think Haley should have been fire, it wasn't his fault with the injuries and lack of depth. Chiefs were 30 million under the cap this year.

I agree about mcdaniels, if they bring him in as OC I'm mostly fine with that, but if he's head coach I'm not watching next year. And unfortunately mcdaniels would mean more Cassel since he coached him in new England

Hmmm...McDainiels(OC) + Orton + Bowe = interesting combo. Look at what he did in Denver.

JESUS LIVES!!!!!

And the niners offense sucked, especially in the red zone. That and they got robbed of a TD by the asshole cheating paid off refs.

This... I don't know how well they are going to do post season when they just can't get in the fucking end zone.

I really think the Bears need to camp on Todd Haley's doorstep to hire him as OC if Martz leaves as expected. I wouldn't mind Norv Turner either, but I don't see it after the way his bro Ron was punted out the door.

yes, that was pathetic. While their offense hasn't been potent this year--nothing like GB/NO, or NE, of course, they have been extremely effective running the ball and moving via short passes.

Sunday was dreadful, though, and against a very bad team. The defense has certainly kept SF going this season, but their offense has been good enough to get the job done behind that defense.

Sunday was just said, though. and they did not look like a playoff team.

They did the same thing to Dallas the week before. Maybe the Cards have just stepped up, along with a combination of bizarre/unusual play calling styles that are difficult to adjust for. I agree that SF is waaaaay better than the Cards, and definitely a bit better than Dallas (even though Dallas won their matchup in SF, I'm a realist).

It's football, and sometimes errors are made. Dallas had the NY game wrapped up tight, but a combination of errors along with a classic Romo goofup under pressure was all she wrote. Dallas is definitely the better team, but on any given sunday ...

I'm right there with you. It's either Balt or Pitt. NE is good, of course, but they will get carved to pieces by GB or NO. ...and if the SF before last week shows up, then they could probably put up plenty of points on NE to make it a game, and I think their D is good enough to stop Brady. But who knows--Gronk is a beast, but I doubt NE could run against them.
