and it was legitimately answered (playoffs start on Saturday, so there is potential to have even one less day)

that and Monday games are prescheduled and the NFL wants the season to end on a meaningful game of which there's a pretty big risk the Monday night game won't mean much, however thanks to SNF's flex scheduling that can pretty much be guaranteed - tonight's Denver vs. San Diego was essentially a playoff game...

You have to be a pats fanboy to feel that way, the NFL rules have been in place and have been like this since forever.

And considering the way the Chargers have been playing as of late, I'm not so sure they're any less dangerous than the Pats...

With Brady out for possibly another season, and who knows how he will be when he comes back after being shelved for two years, it would behoove the Pats to re-sign Cassell.

I just dont know how they keep coming up with these no-name beast QBs on the bench that step up to the big show when the star goes down.
