that's the interesting part though, would they really pay the premium for Cassel that he has earned himself and keep Brady when he's going to be injured and a possible question mark after healing due to the injury (Carson Palmer for instance...)?
the Pats were either brilliant, cheap, or perhaps a bit of both when they seemingly refused to pick up another free agent QB when so many thought they should after Brady got injured
granted this is all just speculation at this point in time, I really doubt Brady is going to miss next season, at least I'll doubt it until I hear more/better information on what exactly isn't going quite right, right now its just interesting to consider what could happen...
