What just happened with the bears lol
hey matt cassel the left guard is not an eligible receiver.
Bills sit alone atop the AFC East? Wtf is the world coming to!
wait until the skins are there tomorrow, as well!
:awe:
horrible reffing is what happened.
Refs were horrible all around today.
At first glance yeah, it looks like a bad call, the WR was about 5 yards behind the play. On the replay it was obvious. The receiver tried to turn around to make a play for the ball and the safety at first wrapped him up for a second, then let him slide. The wrap was what got him, it wasn't incidental contact at that point and the receiver WAS trying to come back to the play. Good call by the ref - 1st and Goal from the 1 yard line.
The silver platter I'm referring to were the past several YEARS of non-calls and look-the-other-way's the refs gave the Patriots. Not just against the Bills, but against nearly every team in the league.
I only saw the begining of the second half, and I turned it off in disgust.
The Bears were pulling off the quadfecta - Could run, couldn't pass, couldn't stop the run, couldn't stop the pass.
For the first time in the Cutler era I'm getting a little fed up.
You trade away bundle for a franchise QB to build around, and then do NOTHING to help him succeed. The Bears have drafted the lowest amount of OL in the first few rounds since the early 2000s, and iirc it is by a wide margin. And give me a break - Roy Williams is NOT the answer at #1 WR. It's almost laughable.
They're WAY under the cap (I think I read 19 mil) and decided to sit on it, I guess. A guy like Brian Waters, who made the pro bowl last year was cut and floating out there. They should have made him an offer he couldn't refuse.
Indy just tanks and scores in garbage time to pretend they are trying.
The mere thought that a Detroit/Buffalo Superbowl is possible seems to just defy physics.
I'll give the Bill's credit, huge plays when it counted, Jackson was a monster today. I was watching a crappy stream so I could not see if the PI call was legit or not, no matter what team I don't like the idea of giving up 40yds on a penalty, let 'em play, if it's a mug job OK, call it, otherwise your gonna have receivers jumping into defenders (like NBA) to draw a flag. Yea, NE wins came with a "silver platter", care to specify or are you just spewing crap..
