eh
NE, MIA, DEN, IND
only ones that looks stong
Falcons are rather injury depleted at the moment as other pointed out
SEA, NO, DET, CHI, GB look they could win(or lose) any game they play this year
NE is weak for 4-0, remember they snuck past the Bucs for gods sake
this season is crazy weird so far, its going to be a few weeks still to sort out who really is great, besides Denver of course
KC is looking pretty good and I agree that NE is weak for a 4-0 team. Remember, KC may have had a bad record last season but they did have several Pro Bowlers and before last season, many picked them to finish first or second in the division. I think coaching and QB were their biggest issues and they remedied both this past offseason.
The Colts are still having some issues but their defense has played well for the last couple of weeks. Yes, yesterday doesn't count since the Jags aren't a real NFL team, but they played well against San Francisco. A couple of weeks ago, they lost two starters on offensive line and initially played better on the OL, but they had definite issues yesterday against the Jags. I mean, they've been pretty successful establishing the run the last couple of weeks but even with that threat, Luck is still constantly pressured on passes even when it isn't a slam dunk passing down.
I'm just not sure I know where the Colts fall in the AFC right now. I'd say Denver is easily the best team in the AFC (and the league) right now but after that, it is anyone's guess who is next in the AFC pecking order. Houston may still win the AFC South but I wouldn't ever bet on them to win a Super Bowl and I think their window is closing fast.
So KC and TENN don't count? And after all, Seattle just barely squeaked by the last game.
Yeah, we have three 3-1 teams in the AFC South right now so it will be interesting to see what happens with Tennessee.
EDIT: Oops, Houston is 2-2 so we have Indy and Tennessee atop the AFC South at the moment.
