A couple of quick pre-sleep thoughts...

1) How are these Pats 4-0? Amazing. I'm jealous.

2) How are the Titans 3-1? Too bad Locker is in the hospital and staying overnight while they continue to evaluate. Not sure how well they will do under Fitz but looks like he'll be the man for awhile.

3) Hockey starts Thursday (for the Preds). Woo!

I hate Cris Collinsworth SO MUCH. He's so wrong on everything. There is no other announcer that I even dislike at all. Even his voice is annoying.

Meh, they were out their best corner, best RB, best OLman and had 2 LB's injured during the game and the Pat's still had to defend an end-zone pass to seal it.

The Vikes should start Matt Cassel, or the Steelers defense was so bad, even the Vikes with Matt Cassel could beat them. Adrian Peterson would be so dangerous if the Vikes have a QB who can throw to make 1st down a few times a game.

Looking back on Baltimore's horrible game against the Bills... how does Ray Rice only get 5 rushes the ENTIRE game? Especially with Flacco throwing 50 passes and 5 INTs. Did he get reinjured during the game? Is it still banged up? Or was it really a massive coaching fail?

It was amazing to me that the Ravens almost won despite 5 INTs.

really? Chris is one of my favorites. He's old and slow and just kind of silly.

Maybe its because growing up I collected football cards and I still remember having his card. I want to say it was a "1,000 yard club" card. I also had Troy Aikman's rookie card, so I like him too.

I believe I still have Collinsworth's rookie card. 1982 Topps IIRC. I need to dig my cards out -- I have some good ones (like the Aikman and Emmitt Smith Score rookies), but my favorite will always be my 1978 Earl Campbell rookie card. I think I might have an Elway rookie too. My brother, on the other hand, has tons and tons of good ones -- Walter Payton rookie, Joe Montana rookie, all of the class of 84 (Elway, Marino, Dickerson, etc) rookies, Barry Sanders rookie, etc.

Anyway, I liked Collinsworth as a player but think he is kind of a tool as an announcer. Aikman is my favorite analyst.

See...I like him as an announcer. He doesn't take himself too seriously like the other idiots do. I like that.

And you don't see him drooling over quarterbacks like almost every other talking head. He seems to like talking up the little guys instead of jumping on the bandwagon.

Manning didn't lose in the first round last year. I suggest you review the playoff structure of the NFL.

But hey, look at the bright side -- with the way the Ravens are playing, maybe they won't make the playoffs and Brady won't be able to choke in the playoffs again.

You've obviously never watched a game with Mike "I Woulda Done It This Way" Mayock then.

That said, as much as I dislike the pats from a division rivalry standpoint, I would never wish ill-will on a player, but I am thankful I won't have to hear about the brokeback love affair that the announcers have with Wilfork for the rest of the season.
