I dunno, he clearly led with his helmet there, but after watching it again, I guess it could go either way. Ugly hit nonetheless.

Fixed.
Kyle Orton as a starting QB in the NFL makes me laugh hysterically now. After the awesome display of "controlling the game" he showed today, anyone that can still argue him over Grossman with a straight face needs to have a psych evaluation.
It doesn't even feel like a win honestly. It feels like beating a video game with a game genie or something.

3TD's and 2 picks, had it been Grossman it would have been 1TD and 4 picks. yeah he isn't a great quarterback, but at least he's not Grossman, so they have a chance of winning.

Did I watch a different game or something? 2 picks, 2 fumbles, at least 4 overthrown balls, 2 sacks that are his fault. He is now (with no T. Jackson) the worst QB in the NFL by a longshot.
He can't do anything, nothing, not a thing. That was the worst game by a QB that I have seen in a long time, but unfortunately because the D single handily won the game, nobody will remember it. Orton cannot move in the pocket, if his #1 option in a play is not open he will panic and get sacked or throw and INT, he telegraphs 100% of his passes - stares at the guy he's throwing to for his entire route and lobs a dead duck up to him.
All of those things? They = Rex too. The one difference is Rex can throw a ball at the level an NFL QB should. For whatever reason, when Orton throws a 3 yard INT it doesn't carry the same weight as a 40yd one from Rex. When Rex got sacked, it was always his fault. Rex had Cedric Benson and Peterson as RB's.
People need to stop listening to Sportscenter and actuall watch the game, Orton is barely a QB for a D-3 college, and it's sad that the stupid fans made him our starter.
3 out, interception, 3 out, fumble, 3 out, fumble, field goal, end That is the second quarter by the outstanding bears O. Orton + Ron Tuner - the second worst combo in the NFL.

I'm not arguing he is a good QB. The bears need to find a decent one. I'm just arguing that Sexy rexy is a worst choice. Given the option of rex just lobbing shit into the air and panicing in the pocket, or Orton, who at least will remain calm and hold onto the damn ball a good portion of the time, I'm gonna pick Orton.

nope, wrongo. They panic the same, they fumble the same, they both make bad decisions, the difference between their INT's are 20-30 yards, they're bad the same. The difference? When Rex has a wide open receiver 40 yards down the field, he has the physical ability to make that pass. Orton? Lollipops a ball that will most likely end up out of bounds.
Until tonight, the main argument for Orton over Rex was "he controlls the game". Well, that bullshit was proven wrong once and for all. Without the luck of: No Westbrook, 2 missed FG's, and a miracle defense, Orton would have cost the bears this game because he is terrible.
Again, I'm not taking Rex over Brady, Favre, Manning, etc. But I'll take him over Orton any day of the week. Unfortunately the idiot fans and even dumber media created this false image of Orton as the ultimate QB.

Except that Boldin was hit from behind first, repositioning him as a target...
