Whoulda thunk the Bills would win three games?

I love my Bills but damn, Buffalo needs to buy some higher talent.

I don't disagree. I would love to see them come back to glory.

Anyone called Norwood?

Why when you can't even utilize CJ Spiller correctly and in accordance with his strengths?

Steve Smith vs NFC South, just like old times. I wonder if that was one reason why Baltimore signed him.

No. Game's in Seattle - big difference.
Well the Cowboys have been playing away games all season anyways :awe:

No. Game's in Seattle - big difference.

Yes, "home refs" means Percy would have scored 3x so the score would have been 48-17.

Btw, Wilson had a great game but I think both penalties on Percy's *receiving TDs* (not the run) were wrong. If those counted and Baldwin had no inexplicably dropped the bomb in the 1st corner Wilson would have had nearly 300 yards, 4 passing TDs, and 120 yards rushing with another TD. Wouldofcouldofshouldof -- i.e. pointless banter -- but it puts into perspective that even if just the Percy catches counted Wilson has a *historically good* night. In fact he played at a historically high level Monday night, a couple flags here and there just obscure that on the stat sheet.

I want to see if Seattle will cut back on the penalties. Yes, they had the most last year. But week 1-3 they were doing great, but "bad" Seattle came out Monday. (Note how few illegal contacts Seattle has though). I also want to see them progress a little more as they are not putting in complete games and looking sloppy. The interior line is playing well on the run but the tackles are not playing well in the run or pass. The line is worse than last year IMO even though the guards are better. Figure that one out.

Dallas will be an interesting match up. Seattle matches up well against big receivers like Dez and TEs outside the "Gates of Hell" (i.e. 120 degree SD game). On the flip side Seattle's league best rush D may be inflated (a lot?) so we should get a good gauge of where the Seattle D is. In general they have been great minus a few lapses (last Denver drive, DJack exploiting the same deep switch) but they are getting pressure without sacks and are not getting a lot of turnovers. Dallas has a legit offense so it will be a nice test--unless the noise is too disruptive. I hope for a good game and want to Seattle string together a full 4 quarters. They played too much "not to lose" in the 2nd half of Denver and seemed to lack the focus to put away Washington. Not putting away teams in the NFL is the best way to be watching the Superbowl at home.

I heard on the radio that most of Romo's INTs are to the defenses left side (where Sherman is) so I wonder if he will avoid Sherman? I think that is a BAD strategy because, for all the talk of "great CBs follow best receivers" when a team effectively gives up 1/3rd the field it makes them more predictable and the D can flood those areas. The other interesting thing will be hidden yards. Percy's fantasy numbers are bad but he is effectively getting Seattle AWESOME starting position on kick offs. If teams keep kicking it out of bounds, short, etc. Seattle will take it. And it could TOTALLY backfire as I expect one of these times for Baldwin to pass backwards to Harvin.

The third TD taken from Harvin was not wrong. Your opinion is pretty uninformed. The blocker clearly hit a player already on the ground. That is a penalty.

I think Dallas actually has a good offense to match up with Seattle's D. Dez is a big, physical receiver and Seattle has big, physical corners. I will be interesting to see how well Sherman can lock Dez down. Dallas' current offensive line and Murray racking up the yards is going go up against Seattle's LB core. That is also going to be a good (entertaining, at least) match up. Dallas will dominate the trenches, but Seattle has very athletic LBs who can get up quickly to stop those longer runs. I think Witten is going to prove the x factor for Dallas' offense. Gates showed that Seattle is a little soft when having to cover a good receiving TE, and the Cowboys will try and exploit that with deep Witten routes.

The problem with the game (for Dallas, at least), is Dallas' D. Can they contain Wilson? Even if they are able to cover the receivers and contain Lynch, Wilson still gives a massive offensive weapon to worry about. If they are able to stop Seattle from scoring a lot, I will be very impressed, especially considering how bad they were at stopping anything last year.

WTF Panthers upcoming schedule
@ Cincinnati
@ Green Bay
Seattle
New Orleans on Oct 30
@ Philadelphia on Nov 10

Brutal

And there is that weird 11-day gap between the Thursday night N.O. game and the Monday night game at Philly. The real bye week is two weeks after that . . .

I actually think that's the sucker bet this week, OAK won't go 0-16 this year and this is just the kind of game that SD may overlook and the Raiders will be fired up for. DEN over the Jets or SF over STL is the play here IMHO.

I'm a pretty pessimistic Chargers fan and have been worried the past few weeks as in the past the Chargers have phoned in some games against weak opponents and got burned. I believe in McCoy now so whoever is healthy on Sunday is showing up this week. If the Chargers lose the game, it'll be because the injuries are piling up. They were on their rookie 4th string center last week and 4th string RB, who actually had an amazing game.

They have talent, they just need a reliable QB, Orton managed to do OK last week, I'm not so sure about the long run, they had to try him though, Manual was F-ing up pretty good, like I said earlier, expect a dog fight Sunday when the Pat's come to town, winner takes control of the division.

Yeah, with all the talk about issues between Brady and the Patriots last week, I was thinking hey, I may not like the guy but he'd instantly make the Bills a playoff team.

Random question for those who have been to Qualcomm in SD. How are the field level seats around the 40 yd line? They are listed as "obstructed view" but they are pretty cheap. Various online pictures show that you may have difficulty looking at the corners but it should be too bad otherwise.

This will probably be the first Thursday night game that isn't a complete blowout, or atleast I hope so.

I don't know if I should hate the Colts because of neckbeard, or because they're weaselly.

Weaselly? More like sporting a big old pair of meaty clangers.
