You're talking about TODAY -- I was referencing the course of the past several years which gives us much large sample-size.

Please, don't tell me bandwagon Cowboy fans are on their way here.

The Cowboys fans have been here through all the ridicule.

This Dallas team is different. Their offensive line is really good and they are utilizing their run game. Romo is not having to do it all.

Am I the only person that hates Carrie Underwood? Can we get that racist who dresses like Macho Man Randy Savage on LSD back?

Very disappointing game by Seattle. Cowboys are playing well, especially the running game, and they contained Wilson from doing too much damage.

What a day for Brady and that offense, they were backed up to their 8yrd line and Brady completes to Edleman then Buffalo had them in a 3rd and 16 but once again Brady rifles a shot to Gronk for a huge 1st down then another perfectly thrown ball to Lafelle for a game winning TD, 290+ yds of offense in the 2nd half by the Pat's and this is missing 2 starting O-lineman and Ridley out of the game as well, Brady finishes with 4 TD's,361 yds, 0 int's and a QB rating of 139.7, not too shabby for a guy many said was done for, not to mention the Bills smashed him around plenty as well all game long..
It helps when you have the refs in your back pocket. I hate being that guy, but damn were they in the Patriots' favor today.

Big bears win possibly saving the season. Great play from the backup linebackers today. Greene had 8 tackles 6 solo. Chistian Jones-cheese as his teamates call him had a great day with a fantastic stop on 3rd down in the second quarter. Lance Briggs should be worried about now. I know its one game but on a short week his backup had a better game than hes had all year. Briggs is fat and old. Time for him to join the Raiders.....

Cutler didnt throw the game away and had a pretty good game. Mills continues to stink it up at tackle. When Bushrod comes back I wouldnt be surprised to see Ola get a look there.

Defence for bears was much improved today. Willie Young should be leading the league in sacks with his two today and Allen had a sack and would have had 3 if he didnt get held on those two other close ones.

Mike Smith looked like he was gonna cry when the tight end dropped two straight first downs.....

Julio Jones was controlled by the defensive rookie of the year in Fuller. Julio had 12 targets and only had 4 catches. Was something like 10 drops for atlanta. OUCH!

Bears looked like a much better team against a really bad defensive team.

How did the Giants win those three games? I could call the defensive plays from my couch before they even lined up on offense.

2 of the 3 teams they beat are not good. Still..... I expected the Giants to be better than this

They should just skip the flags and have the Giants start on 1st and 20 every possession...

Yea, some of the calls against the Bills were very questionable, the only real break they got was when the Gronkowski pass/fumble was upheld when it seemed he had possession and was turning upfield. We've had the same deal though in earlier games, guys getting called for defensive holding just for touching a receivers jersey, it's completely unpredictable how a game will be called this year. That being said there were some major breakdowns in the Buffalo secondary today and with Ridley gone the Pat's running game was but a flicker in the second half. Only one play was of the sensational variety, that being the Tyms TD while in triple-coverage, most of Brady's targets were open and he was on the money with most of his throws today. Gotta figure in the turnovers as well which the Bills have managed to stay away from this year until today.

I think everyone is surprised by how well they are doing.

I was expecting them to possibly contend but have to admit I had no idea their O-line was that dominant, with that kind of blocking, power-runnung, it makes the play-action work 100X better and the defense had Wilson confused and under siege all day, 9 first downs for the entire game, impressive, TOP, 37/22 is another eye-popper stat, take away the blocked punt and this is a blowout, the Cowboys IMO are now the #1 team in the NFC.

Browns looking good and better than expected especially without Gordon. However, this could be fools gold (reminding me of the 2011 Bills starting 5-0 and flaming out).

Anyone raping the steelers are ok in my book.

Hoyer was Brady's backup from 2009-12, he knew unless Brady got injured he was not going to play but he studied hard and learned from one of the best and now he's in position to make that due diligence pay off and it is.

Eagles are winning in just about every aspect of the game. As happy as I am about Cowboys win, I'm equally concerned about the Eagles.

They look good this game, but make no mistake, the Eagles have huge holes. And that's the thing to remember about both teams. You're never as good as you look when you're going good, and never as bad as you look when you're going bad.

I'd want to make a rule change to the NFL, and that is to limit the number of punts in a game. If your team sucks ass, either improve it, or let the world know that you're just a wet bag of flaming doodoo.

For sure, but on Saturday I'd have said the NFC-E was the division to beat. Now it's the Cowboys/Eagles, with an eye on Seattle/GB. That may all change next week.

I guess, outside of "my team will win this season" fans, most would not have expected this. It's odd.

Calm down, Cletus. :awe:

Seeing is believing, just sayin, these guys believe in themselves and that's probably the most important part, this game was no where near as close as the final score indicated. When you can bring your team into the loudest, most hostile environment and dominate the game like that it speaks for itself. The defense was outstanding and Romo no longer has to play from behind and try to force passes into bad places. The best part was watching loudmouth Sherman getting it shoved down his pie-hole by Murray with his feeble attempt at stopping his final TD run. Congrats to the Cowboy's and their fans for a great win, it was fun as heck to see the "12th man" shut the fuck up and shuffle out of the sold-out game to realize there will be no repeat of last year..
