Nice to see folks giving the Blue Jackets at least a game in the series. It would be great to win the series. Quick, early scores and hard hitting might break PIT's will. A giant long shot for sure, but a fan can hope. Whichever way it goes, PIT will be bruised and battered.

And it is nice to see that the only series in the west that has both teams in the central time zone gets stuck with an 8:30p local start. Guess the NHL doesn't want children watching the game.

ANA at DAL has a 7p central time start on 4/23 and StL at CHI has the 8:30p central time start. Did the NHL get those start times backwards?

Anyways regarding the Pens, as much as I like Dan Bylsma, his track record the last few years in the playoffs have me concerned. Who knows though, might surprise me. All I know is they better not get swept by columbus, boston was bad enough last year.

It would not surprise me at all if the Jackets won that series.
I know i'll be getting at least a couple or few wrong in the first round as so many could go either way.
I could see Wild and Stars making it to second round, and i'm not confident on LA beating SJ (though i think they'll find a way).
TBL - MTL is so tough to pick as well.

I'm gonna be a mess if my ducks lose even a single game in this series. Its that time of the year again, and despite my best efforts I just cant control myself. It ruins my whole day if my team loses.

Hell, any NHL fan outside of Pitt that is tired of hearing the Cindy circle jerk, especially on NBC?

Of course I want the Wings to win. But I am also a hockey fan. I hate to see teams with a strong fan base struggle to give those fans something to cheer about. Columbus, Winnipeg, Calgary, NYI, etc.

Conversely, there are a few cities who don't support their team (i.e. Panthers, Coyotes, etc.), and I'd love to see those teams relocate.
