I think the Bruins (except Price vs. Rask) played better than the Canadiens for most of the series. What Montreal did well was not fall into the trap of playing like the Bruins against them. They shrugged off the cheap stuff and stuck to their game.

So glad boston lost. Could not have happened to a nicer team. That video does about sum it up to me. I am a casual fan and even i was scratching my head watching them play. They act all tough then were taking the biggest dives and cheap shots.

Chicago is the closest thing i have to a local team so i am rooting for them, and i will also be rooting for the Canadiens now as well.

So funny! It was great to see the underdogs win. That 3rd goal was an absolute dagger...watching briere skate off and celebrate in absolute silence. Powerful.

I totally agree. You can never convince me Chara didn't mean to hurt Patches on that hit. I'm just so glad he came back from that, the guy is a true talent and an inspiration for small forwards in the NHL.

Max Pax is like 6'3 and 220 - He's not exactly a small forward. He's a potential power forward who is already putting up good numbers. If he had another 15-20 lbs of muscle, he'd be a beast.

Rangers vs Canadiens Predictions? We'll do the same with Chicago vs LA / Ducks once we know who is in it.

Regular Season - Montreal has won 12 of past 16 overall matchups. Montreal was 2-1 against the Rangers this season, Winning 2-0 and 1-0. Rangers won one game 1-0. A Grand Total of 4 goals scored in 3 games.

Both are coming off Game 7 wins in which they had to come back from being down.

Both have star goalies, both performing well this off season. Lundqvist is 4-5-2 with a 3.87 goals-against average and .876 save percentage Career at Bell Centre... and is recently been rested when the Rangers are in town.




I watched both series in round 2. My opinion is I think Montreal will win this series in 5 or 6 games.

I love the way Subban handled that. They asked him what Lucic said to him in the handshake line and he said he wasn't going to talk about it and he understood why he was upset and fired up having just lost. Never knew Subban was such a class act.

I don't really know who to fault in this. Weise started doing Lucic's chest thump after goals in an effort to get under Lucic's skin. Mission accomplished. I guess it all depends on whether you think Lucic's chest thumping is showboating.
