Canadiens vs. Embellishment City Game 7 2014 Playoffs is right

Bruins should be ashamed of themselves. What a joke, seriously. If they spent half of that energy diving over and over on playing they probably would have won this game.

If I was a Boston fan I'd be embarrassed.

To many missed opportunities and yes, way to many dives, it's part of hockey but clearly the Ref's weren't playing that game, if you know that it's time to man up and play, the Bruins didn't, it's like they expected the Hab's to just roll over, it is an embarrassment for sure..

I love the way Subban handled that. They asked him what Lucic said to him in the handshake line and he said he wasn't going to talk about it and he understood why he was upset and fired up having just lost. Never knew Subban was such a class act.

Then he kissed Pierre.

LOL

EDIT: Here is the interview if you want to watch it

http://www.boston.com/sports/hockey...rre_mcguire_but_wont_bite_on_lucics_mess.html

Subban better watch his back. I hear Cindy Crosby gets jealous...

Typical Pierre Mcguire interview...

One for the Kings Fans...

Quoted. If Habs win the Cup this is going to be "ShitLOL!"

Have a really good chance now I would say
Quote away, stoner boi. Unlike the pussy you are I won't run away and refuse to man up from something I posted.

You think Montreal has "a really good chance now" to win the Cup? ShitLOL! to that again. You know less about the NHL than you know about the NFL.

Whoever wins the WCF will beat the ECF winner.

OK.

First. I often disappear from this forum for weeks, even months at a time all year long. Just because it happened once after the Broncos lost had nothing to do with them losing and everything to do with me having better things to do at that point in my life and being busy at work.

Next. I'm hardly a stoner for partaking in something legal and infinitely less harmful to society than alcohol in moderation on the weekends. It's not like I smoke weed every day, or even every weekend. Don't pretend to know me.

Also. I get that you are jealous that I live in a progressive city whose team isn't a bunch of pussies that flop all over the ice like they are basketball players, where I can legally partake of something that everyone should be able to do. I get that my life is probably much more fulfilling then yours and so you are on the forums night and day to totally "man up" to what you say.

Lastly. The cup is ASSUREDLY the western conference's to lose now but that hardly means Montreal has zero chance. Your opinion matters even less then a Leafs fan's because you wouldn't give the Habs credit for anything, no Boston fan would because most Boston fans are jaded assholes with asshole mentality's that they are better than everyone else. The Ducks have already shown they have some difficulty with speed when playing Dallas, and the Habs could ultimately be a much more difficult test. I think LA matches up the best and would probably defeat them handily. Chicago may also have difficulty with Montreal. So we'll just have to see who they have to face and if they can get past the Rangers.

If 1-4 odds isn't a "really good chance" as of right now after 30 teams have become (what will ultimately be) 4 teams, you're also as bad at math as your Bruins are at flopping.

So Shero is gone, rightfully so.

The Pens cap situation for next year is crazy. They have 14 players signed and only 16 million in cap space. Shero screwed them in that respect. Not a good cap manager and you need that in today's NHL.

I assume they just didn't fire Bylsma yet and will let the new GM do it and bring in his guy.

Bylsma is out as well....

EDIT: Nevermind, they are "only" evaluating what to do with him.

I like cheering against Boston, but that series is over. Montreal played with heart and won. Now they have to beat the NYR who just rallied hard against the Penguins to win their series and their goalie has been quite hot.

I am still not hopeful that the Canadiens can go all the way, but they certainly have a better chance to win the Cup than Boston has right now. Regardless of what my head says, my heart is !00% behind them.

I don't really know who to fault in this. Weise started doing Lucic's chest thump after goals in an effort to get under Lucic's skin. Mission accomplished. I guess it all depends on whether you think Lucic's chest thumping is showboating.

The handshakes at the end are sacred. You don't do crap like that. Its a part of the game that when all is said and done you shake hands and do it graciously.

It just shows what a punk he is. That he's more interested in being a dick instead of holding up years of tradition.

Talk about the wheels falling off the bus. I'm wondering how much worse it can get for the Ducks. I'm gonna predict a 6-2 final score.

They gave up 15 shots in the first. Even if they manage to settle down I'm pretty sure they boned themselves with just that period alone.

Ducks are showing some life. An entire period left, cheer for them.

Well i made out pretty well with my first round predictions.

7/8 is pretty damn good, and i figured the Wild-Avs series was going to be really close anyway.

Obviously my pools stay the same, but i'm going to predict the second round here anyway.

CHI > MIN in 5
LA > ANA in 6

BOS > MTL in 6
NYR > PIT in 6

Again, made out rather well except for the shocker few were picking: MTL beating BOS.
3/4 in the second round.

Now it gets really tough.

I really don't know what's going to happen with the Canadiens vs. the Rangers.
My original playoff brackets (before any games played) had LA > CHI in the Western final and BOS > NYR in the East. So i've been close but truthfully i'm just not sure what will happen next.

Here are my revised conference finals predictions:

CHI > LA in 7
MTL > NYR in 7

A couple of interesting stats:

So far in the playoffs, the home team is 1-5 in Game Sevens. And in the 27 second round games, the team that scored first has won 26 of them.

The ducks are a pathetic joke of a team. I'm so butthurt man its not even funny. To have a team you root for do that...I honestly think I'm done with them. To show up like that for a game 7...you don't deserve any fans.

Huge hockey fan but I think I'm just gonna enjoy games without being a fan of a team from now on. That was just too much.

Hey man, it'll get easier with time. Trust me, I've been though it alot in recent years. Just give it some time, the initial sting hurts and will have you pondering alot of what ifs. That will do you no good, because in reality they most likely would have f'd something else up. Just let it be.

Seriously. You don't ditch your team over a bad series or two. That's lame. By your logic I should have stopped being a fan in '03 when they couldn't win a road game in the finals....

What kind of fan is done with their team because they lost in a game 7?
Try being an Oilers fan. Pure torture for how many years now? 8 i think.
Real fans stick around thru the pain.
