Dang I go upstairs for a couple minutes and come back down, and pens take it to 3-0 up from 1-0.

My favourite Blue Jacket scored one goal and I think got 2 assists. Good series by Ryam Johansen so far.

I watched him play quite a bit when he was with the local Jr team, the Portland Winterhawks... He's a stud!

That is where I started watching him as well. If even have a signed Winterhawks game worn jersey from him. The Winterhawks have been quite good the last 4 years.

Fluery is a jackass.

That made me LOL. This series is such a roller coaster. It's almost too much to handle. Win or lose, it's excruciating.
We'll take those last two goals, especially that OT goal. But he's made a lot of great saves too. His teammates could be helping him more.
I just like the way Columbus is built now. As a fan, when we got Nash, we thought that's all we needed....one big name to carry us. Now it's a bunch of hard workers.

I just attended the Winterhawks game tonight... One more win, and it's back to the WHL Finals for the fourth year in a row!

Afraid to comment on a nice Blackhawks victory last night. StL is the one and only team that the Hawks seem to never get a comfortable lead against. Always close and always stressful as hell. Took me 2 hours to fall asleep last night and the alarm 3 hours later was annoying.

as a somewhat casual fan I have been enjoying the heck out of the playoffs so far. Great games with surprise endings. I thought the Pens game was over when it was 3-0 then Columbus came back. That makes for some good games. I do with Detroit would get their heads out of their rears though, they have looked bad the last couple games. Chicago and Detroit are my 2 local teams since we don't have one in WI.

last night's game was awesome. My heart rate was through the roof! Can the Blues and Blackhawks ever finish up a game in regulation? Jeesh!

I'm from STL, work 3 blocks from ScottTrade Center, so obviously I want the Blues to win.

But that was a good game from Chicago and I enjoyed watching it. The game could have gone either way.

This series is more like the finals than a first rounder.
Good thing is I am out of town on vacation starting today and not back until early Monday morning. Not sure I will be able to watch the next 2 games so the stress level will drop a thousand fold. My doctor would be happy because I can't imagine the stress is too good for me.

The game Monday night had my heart rate so high, my nurse gf actually flipped out.

Jackets are America's sweetheart right now. Everyone's favorite underdog. Jackets are an easy team to root for - all heart, and grit. An underdog who just recently won its first playoff game and are now looking to take a lead in a series against the Pens. What's not to love? Unless you're a Penguins fan.

Dubinsky is a hell of a player, I didn't think Columbus got fair end in that trade but the more and more I watch them play the more I see what their GM was doing. I hope he continues making Cindy's life a living hell.

Fun fact, Crosby hasn't scored a goal in the last 9 playoff games, Malkin in the last 8 playoff games.

LOL it looks like Corsi mighta caught up to the Avs, finally.
If Varly stops standing on his head for one game even, Wild have this series (and might anyway regardless).

Great hockey between the two teams for sure. I wish the refs would stop inserting themselves into the games sometimes, either through madeup penalties or missed ones. Seeing two different styles of hockey go against each other is fantastic.

I must admit, St. Louis is way more skilled then they have showed the last couple seasons. I was afraid that they would learn to actually play the game and with their physical nature its just brutal out there.

I don't think there is a np better team in the East right now than the Bruins. They have talent, size and meanness. They can be beaten in any single game, but a seven game series is much tougher.
